10.01.2022 Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which we affirm the faith into which we have been baptized and our intention to live a life of committed discipleship. Today Lou, James Magok, Aker Dau, John Brittan, Rebecca Alith and Beny Dau affirmed their faith before Bishop Denise Ferguson and St Marys congregation. We the congregation of St Marys extend our best wishes on your confirmation day. As the sun brightens the world, so may God’s graces brighten your understanding and add beauty to all your days. God bless you on your confirmation and always.

07.01.2022 Archbishop Geoffrey and the leadership team have advised to pause public worship for the time being. He has suggested below prayer during this time. "Almighty and Allloving God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we pray to you through Christ the Healer for those who suffer from the Coronavirus Covid19 in Australia and across the world. We pray too for all who reach out to those who mourn the loss of each and every person who has died as a result of contracting the disease.... Give wisdom to policymakers, skill to healthcare professionals and researchers, comfort to everyone in distress and a sense of calm to us all in these days of uncertainty and distress. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord who showed compassion to the outcast, acceptance to the rejected and love to those to whom no love was shown." Amen. - Archbishop Michael Jackson, Dublin & Glendalough See more

06.01.2022 Today in St Marys, two beautiful children were Baptised. We St Marys worshipping community, welcome the newly baptised in the life and faith of the church. For all involved, particularly the candidates but also parents, godparents and sponsors, it was a joyful and unrepeatable moment when we rejoice in what God has done for us in Christ, make some serious promises, and declare our faith. As a sign of new life after baptism with water, we lighted candle, a picture of the light of Christ conquering the darkness of evil. The two children who were baptised today, will walk in that light for the rest of their lives.
