21.01.2022 Happy Feast Day! Mass at 10am followed by lunch at 12pm in the Fr Ron Harden Hall.

19.01.2022 As the NSW Parliament prepares to debate a bill decriminalising abortion up to birth next week, I encourage you to demonstrate your opposition to these proposed... laws through witness, action and prayer & fasting. Together, we can put genuine pressure on our politicians to stand for life and reject a bill which serves the interests of the abortion industry and leaves unborn children and unsupported pregnant women at greater risk. 12.01.2022 Shared from our Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP’s Facebook page: Dear Friends, As you know, a bill that would see abortion decriminalised in NSW up until birth, for any reason, will be introduced into Parliament tomorrow. The bill contains no mention of or protections for vulnerable women who too often find themselves distressed and feeling as if they have no option other than abortion. A number of pro-woman, pro-life and pro-family groups will be joining together tomorrow to ra...lly on the steps of Parliament House from 9.30am. I encourage you to also join them and show your support for women and unborn children in the face of proposed laws that would seek to do harm to both. https://www.facebook.com/events/1345288572290260/ See more

12.01.2022 With the Listening and Dialogue phase of the Plenary Council 2020 process now complete, Council facilitator Lana Turvey-Collins and friends extend their thanks to the tens of thousands of people who shared their stories.

09.01.2022 I’d like to share this personal message with you, asking for your support after a bill to decriminalise abortion up to birth was introduced into the NSW Parliament today. We need to act now, praying, fasting and urging all MPs to reject this legislation when it is debated next week.

04.01.2022 New attempts to make abortion even more widely available in NSW are deeply troubling. The measure of a society is how it protects its most vulnerable, be they u...nborn children, their mothers who are too often pressured emotionally, financially and even physically to choose against the life of their child, or the sick and frail elderly. Rather than pursuing laws that will lead to more abortions, we should instead be investing in ways to support pregnant women who feel they have no other choice. I urge all Catholics to rally against this proposed law and, at the same time, recommit ourselves to reaching out with prayer and practical support for women in crisis. 03.01.2022 Today is the feast day of Saint Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, the Archangels. Michael’s name means who is like God. God gave Michael the responsibility of pro...tecting us as God protects us. Gabriel’s name means hero of God. Gabriel is God’s hero because he communicates God’s message to people. We remember Gabriel best for being the angel who announced to Mary that she would be the mother of God’s only Son. Raphael’s name means God has healed. In the Bible, Raphael heals a blind man and is said to have stirred the water in a pool where Jesus healed a paralyzed man. On the feast day of the archangels, we remember that God’s messengers guide us in our journey to everlasting life with our Father. Michael is regarded as the highest ranking and today he is invoked for protection, especially from lethal enemies. Prayer to St. Michael: St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defence against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. #michael #gabriel #raphael #angels #archangels #catholiclife
