16.01.2022 Compact, Convenient, STLINK-V3MINI Debug Probe from STMicroelectronics Accelerates STM32 Application Development Geneva /23 Jul 2019 The STLINK-V3MINI probe, new from STMicroelectronics, combines the enhanced features of STLINK-V3SET with standalone simplicity for faster programming and ease of use, for an even more affordable price, at just $9.75. ... Compact, Convenient, STLINK-V3MINI Debug Probe from STMicroelectronics Accelerates STM32 Application Development  The compact, portable probe can be used anywhere to upload and debug applications on STM32* microcontrollers. It leverages ST’s 14-pin STDC14 debug cable to support enhanced features including Virtual COM Port (VCP). VCP brings extra convenience and flexibility, such as easily observing runtime data on the host PC for faster, clearer debugging. Mass-storage support is another feature of STLINK-V3MINI that makes developers’ lives easier by enabling the uploading of files directly through the probe with a simple drag and drop to quickly trial new ideas or run various demo applications. Moreover, STLINK-V3MINI comes with reference files for 3D printing that let owners create their own customized casing for the probe. STLINK-V3MNI interacts smoothly with the STM32CubeProgrammer and is directly supported in popular commercial IDEs including Keil MDK-ARM, IAR EWARM, and GCC-based IDEs including free STM32CubeIDE from ST. In addition, ST provides free access to the probe’s low-level APIs to help integrate STLINK-V3MINI in custom test platforms. Delivering the powerful features of ST’s third-generation probes, and competitively priced at $9.75, STLINK-V3MINI is available now from www.st.com/stlink-v3mini or from your local distributor. 01.01.2022 STMicroelectronics Brings 32-Bit-MCU Possibilities to Simple Applications with First 8-Pin STM32 Microcontrollers 8-pin STM32G0 devices combine performance, compactness, flexibility, and power efficiency Geneva /19 Sep 2019 STM32 microcontrollers (MCU) from STMicroelectronics are now available in an 8-pin package, enabling simple embedded projects to leverage 32-bit performance and flexibility in a compact and cost-effective outline. ... STMicroelectronics Brings 32-Bit-MCU Possibilities to Simple Applications with First 8-Pin STM32 Microcontrollers The four new STM32G0 devices deliver a unique combination of 8-pin economy with a 64MHz Arm Cortex-M0+ CPU giving 59 DMIPS, up to 8Kbyte RAM and 32Kbyte Flash on-chip, and high-performing peripherals including a 2.5Msps ADC, high-resolution timer, and a high-speed SPI. With flexible mapping of I/O pins and internal MCU functions, designers can upgrade end-product functionality without trading board real-estate or bill-of-materials costs. The stability of the internal oscillator, which is accurate to 1% over wide temperature and voltage ranges, also saves external clock components. Benefiting from the proven low-power design features of the STM32 MCU family, the 8-pin STM32G0 devices are ready to take over in energy-conscious applications governed by battery-capacity limits, eco-design legislation, or market expectations such as appliance energy ratings. The new MCUs also ease future scalability through the features available across the STM32G0 series, which offers up to 100 package pins, up to 512Kbytes Flash, additional high-performance analog peripherals, and cyber-protection features. The new 8-pin STM32G0 MCUs are available now in 6mm x 4.9mm SO8N, from $0.31 for 1000-piece orders of the STM32G030J6 Value Line MCU. The 8-pin Discovery kit STM32G0316-DISCO, available for $9.90, eases developers’ lives with quick and affordable evaluation. STM32G031J6, STM32G031J4, and STM32G041J6 Access Line MCUs are also available in SO8N, offering additional functionality including a hardware AES acceleration, Securable Memory Area enabling secure boot or firmware update, extra timers, and 96-bit unique device ID.
