Kyle Galley and myself went to visit a dear friend this week to c...ollect some items of interest,and would you believe ,the very first old racebook that i looked at was my first visit to the Trots. A friend asked me to go and see his horse HANK SCOTT compete,and that night remains in my memory as if it was yesterday,not the 53 years it actually is. 17.01.2022 Congratulations to young local horseman Brad Walters on his first training success today, with Petite Love successful at Cranbourne when driven by Lance Justice.... Brad hasn't had many starters at the races but has been a big part of the local trots scene in recent years, through his work with local stables, the Gippsland Harness Training Centre and on the track at Warragul as a raceday worker and track curator...you name it, Brad has given it a go in the sport. Well done Brad...hopefully the first of many wins with your trotter!
