12.01.2022 Finally got around to varnishing the upcycled bench seat. I love how the colour of redgum seemingly blends up through the merbau, giving the Tassie oak a warm subtle look.

05.01.2022 136 (or so) year old reclaimed oregon from a prominent Melbourne station I have had the pleasure of helping resto. With the original birds mouth still in tact, these oregon rafters are a testament to the quality and longevity of the timber which outdates most of us here. This is my first time using Douglas fir and the overall softness of the wood was peculiar to work with, every knock is noted and it doesn't leave much room for error. Lucky I'm not a surgeon!

03.01.2022 Re hanging a few sets of sash windows which have been caked in years of paint work which rendered them useless. New glazing to the sashes and missing components meant a full replacement off all cords, weights and pullies to bring these windows back to a functioning state. A full re-paint and new architraves are in order to have them wrapped up and completed.
