18.01.2022 We get busy in business and sometimes forget to focus on the important little things. Perhaps your debtors havent been chased in a while, or youve not received the pricing of your stationery for a good few years. Maybe your phone bill just keeps going up and up and you are just not focused on that to see if you can get a better plan. 16.01.2022 Every business is different, but on the most part I see many business owners implementing only one or two marketing strategies. Just as your business should have diversification (of service, industry, clients) so should your marketing. Im a big fan of 360 marketing strategies. That is, a marketing strategy which encompasses both digital and traditional. Even within an area, say digital, dont just rely on one thing, such as PPC (pa...y per click aka Google Adwords) or just Facebook. We need diversification. Your marketing strategy might encompass some SEO, perhaps some social media, some paid digital advertising as well as some of the more traditional methods, like meeting people, strategic alliances, print ads, names on shirts or flyers or snail mail. Every business and every industry can be a little different. Whatever you do, have a plan, have a schedule and be sure to revisit that schedule very regularly. Marketing should never occur just when you run out of work but all year round. In fact, smart marketers know that the best time to market is when youre busy.
