24.01.2022 They’re the realistic-looking toy guns that have sparked sometimes chilling confrontations with police. But is that a reason for he sport of gel blasting to be banned?

12.01.2022 Hi all, Super quick update! I just wanted to share that SAPOL should be getting a visit from the sheriff either today or Monday. Also if you have any outstandi...ng questions. today might also be a great day to call and ask them. Also a great day to call your local member and air any grievances you have with their lack of support for industry and small business, especially in light of this week. Regards Chris See more

09.01.2022 Some things you should probably know about Gel Blasters in Sa Gel Blasters are still legal to buy and own in SA, please continue to support your retailers and... fields The SA Community has had their permits to import from overseas Blocked by SAPOL. Stock is getting low. We have solutions in place however it takes time to orchestrate. One council in SA have already stopped 1 field from opening as previously agreed, after SAPOL statement on TV that Gel Blasters are now under review. Which has got council off side with no evidence from SAPOL. We still havent seen the ballistics report that we requested . And we know roughly 4-7 enthusiasts have paid and requested the freedom of information release the report too. Thank you guys Some more important information 1- At this stage , alloy/metal receivers are frowned upon by SAPOL who have strongly advised that they should not be sold in SA and therefore are not allowed on most South Australian Fields, or to be sold by SA retailers. Doing so could damage our industry. 2- CO2 compressed gas in a Gel Blaster is currently not allowed in South Australia, SAPOL could charge you with a firearm offense. 3- Your Gel blaster should be hidden from public view when in transport and healthy communication between owner and neighbors can often stop unnecessary public concerns involving SAPOL attending your property unannounced. The outcome- Hopefully we get less resistance from SAPOL moving forward, We hope to get stock back on retailers shelves And reduce concerned members of the public with greater awareness around GelBlasters reducing the stigma that we are currently getting in the media. Wed really like your support as we navigate the path ahead. Together we can make a difference, Divided we will fall. SAGA

Check out ... https://www.facebook.com/CQMasterBlastersSportsClubInc/ The governments anti-fun stance has gone to far and this industry and sport has so much to offer all walks of life. Ive now personally joined and cant wait to get involved more with this incredibly diverse group of people. #onenation #gelblasters #rockhampton
06.01.2022 In a landmark Victorian case a Dandenong magistrate has ruled gel blaster guns are not illegal firearms and are in fact toys. In a first for this state on Tues...day magistrate Tony Burns threw out four charges against a man accused of trafficking and possessing two gel pellet guns. The water-based weapons have been classed as illegal in most states and territories, including Victoria, because police believed they could project a missile. Gel blasters are realistic-looking guns which shoot water-absorbing gel balls and cannot be owned in this state without a firearms licence, but are legal in Queensland and South Australia. Victorian law had dictated that the battery-powered guns, which fire gels that disintegrate on impact, were prohibited weapons. But Mr Burns decision potentially paves the way for people who have been charged with possessing gel blaster guns to demand their charges be withdrawn. Andrew Eliassides had faced four charges after police raided his property on June 4 this year and found two gel guns. He faced serious penalties for trafficking and possessing firearms, including potentially several years in jail. His defence lawyer Sai Ranjit argued that the gel blaster devices were not firearms, and therefore his client simply could not be charged with the offences. Police prosecutor Anthony Albore disputed that, saying gel guns did meet the criteria of a firearm because they could discharge a missile. But Mr Burns has ruled they are not firearms and are more akin to a toy. I find as a matter of fact and law that a gel blaster, given it discharges soft polymer hydrolysed gel balls generally incapable of causing significant harm, do not impact upon public safety and peace any more that any imitation firearm or toy dart gun could, Mr Burns said. The projectile is non-lethal and generally unlikely to cause injury, even when fired at a person at close range. The gel breaks up on impact and can be squashed easily between a persons fingers. Gel bullets are not missiles and while I cannot find they are wholly incapable of causing some injury, the same can be said of any projectile toy. See more

04.01.2022 Port Augusta had a goid turnout to protest these crappy law changes.
04.01.2022 A Launceston Gel Ball Club Inc has expressed its confusion and disappointment in new restrictions around gel blasters. Tasmania Police has recently classified them as firearms, noting similarities with air rifles, but enthusiasts say theyre more like a nerf gun.
03.01.2022 Be honest... how often does this happen to you?
03.01.2022 Here ya go Aaron. Digital scoring as you 'clear the room' live streamed back to HQ scoreboard. RF ID keeps your personal scorecard from game to game, battlefield arena to arena. . Dont tell em about the dom boxes tho.

03.01.2022 We need all hands on deck for this day. Please let me know if you need a lift down to Adelaide
03.01.2022 Gel blaster gun owners have labelled the government the Fun Police after the drafting of new legislation to limit their use. The replica rifles and pistols, which are banned in several states and territories, look eerily authentic and have already given officers some anxious moments.
03.01.2022 Our mission- To keep Gel Blasters and Gelball alive in South Australia. 02.01.2022 Hi All, Just a quick update on where things are at with SA. Affidavit has been completed and funds are being transferred tomorrow to the legal team to kick this... off. This is going to take about 3 months, this doesn't help the 50 plus businesses and 350 plus staff that have lost their livelihood, but it will definitely hold the bureaucrats accountable. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm pretty excited to remind these career politicians and public servants that they work for the community and a democratic society. If you want to donate to the cause further, please find the gofundme link below. Regards Chris https://gf.me/u/y3yr5a See more
