23.01.2022 Charlie Girl's been here for a few days - nice & relaxed enjoying the sun.

23.01.2022 Ajax & Artemis - how gorgeous are these two! They've only been with their new family for a week but a settling in nicely. Setting Rules & Boundaries as they haven't had the best start but are now with a loving family and have already made progress.

23.01.2022 Evie - teaching her manners on the lead especially around the front door & to back off when people coming in the door. Kira - setting rules & boundaries has been the best thing for her plus giving her structure so she can relax more.

18.01.2022 The week that was... Odin - talk about a gentle giant! He's just a lovely boy but gets over excited when he sees other dogs or people. Teaching him to walk better on a lead will definitely help. Bruce - he's so eager to please. It didn't take him long at all to learn Drop, Stay & some further work to do with Recall. He also doesn't usually jump into the back of the car but did it straight away - didn't even have time to film it!

14.01.2022 Update... I'd like to thank everyone for their messages & comments regarding my Post last night - I really appreciate it. I spoke with someone this morning about a pup so will give another update soon...!

12.01.2022 Something a little different. Don’t feel Obligated As some of you know, I started looking for a new female pup a few months ago. It’s been 2 & half years since Lainie passed and I wanted to make sure I was in the right head space & had the time.... I got in contact with someone who’s female & male kelpie were about to have pups, I put my order in, we discussed a price & the pups would be ready to pick up days before Christmas perfect! I received a couple of photos of mum & pups, they were born the day after my birthday, I advised of the name I was going to call my new little girl all good or so I thought. I was so mentally & emotionally prepared for this new pup, so excited but a txt message came through about 10 days ago advising all the pups were uploaded onto the net & they would now be more than triple the amount!!! To say I was devastated, disappointed & totally shocked is an understatement. I didn’t reply immediately because I was upset & angry but I eventually did & advised I won’t be going ahead with buying the pup I still haven’t heard back with any sort of explanation? I’m Posting this because I think it’s important. I hear so many stories from people with similar situations or are finding it hard due to the price of some dogs. Please don’t feel obligated if you’ve been in talks with someone & the details change which you don’t agree with. I really want a new pup but I’m not desperate so I won’t pay any more than what I think is acceptable. If anyone knows of any Kelpie pups (female) that might be available around the first week of January 2021 let me know. The closer to 8wks old the betterThanks

12.01.2022 Sunny - she's been doing great this week with her crate training. They even had visitors for lunch on Saturday & she was much better. They're at a relatives tonight having dinner & she's resting peacefully in her crate - love it! Scarlett - look at this face & those ears! She's only been with her new owners for a week & she's just adorable. She needs a little work on the lead but did everything I asked - so cute.

09.01.2022 Scout - setting some Rules, Boundaries & Structure at home, especially around the front door. Also teaching her to walk better on a lead, she did so well for our 1st session. Nala - talking with her owner about setting new rules & boundaries in a new house once they've moved. Great opportunity to put some different things in place - those ears!

07.01.2022 I've also had these little ones staying - Cosette, Loki & Davo plus Lego came on Friday for the day. Davo use to be quite reactive & aggressive towards other dogs but we've done quite a bit of work with him & Lego (the same boy who met Gunnar recently) can be reactive towards other dogs on the lead - he had an absolute ball...!

05.01.2022 Bailey - we organised a session with Charlie, they know each other but aren't able to be together due to Bailey's reactions to other dogs. By the end of the session they were closer with no reactions from Bailey, she was actually looking, turning away from Charlie, looking up at her owner & receiving a reward - it ended really well.

04.01.2022 Ajax & Artemis - they're both settling in well to their new home, it's only been a couple of weeks. Setting those all important rules & boundaries so they're feeling safe & secure.

03.01.2022 I caught up with Lego & his owner - Gunnar was staying for a few days so I took him along as well. Lego can be very reactive when he sees other dogs so what you see in these photos is huge! We had already done some work out on their footpath where Lego did what he normally does but once he settled we took both into their backyard, let Lego do what comes naturally - sniffing & he did great. It was really important for his owner to see that he's completely capable & to recognise any anxiety on their part is having an impact on situations. Gunnar got a gold star!

01.01.2022 Some catch-ups last week & some new dogs... Elton - he's so much better around the front door & calms down a lot quicker. Recall work has been going well & working on his excitement when meeting people on the lead. Lucy - look at those eyes! She's such a sweet girl but is quite strong when on the lead so she's learning some manners.
