25.01.2022 PSA - I’m not attempting to be a daily motivator, however I attempting to help you all motivate and inspire each other. In saying that, some advice (that I also need to follow myself sometimes) - chill. Don’t get caught up stressing about things that are entirely out of your control. Control your own actions and reactions, and let the people around you do the same. The cards won’t always fall your way but that’s okay. Don’t give too many fucks, don’t take it all too serio...usly, and do the best with what you’ve got. Simple approach, you can’t control the way people act, but you can control the way you react. If someone’s a prick, a friend of mine once told me kill them with kindness. Empathise, relate, react. As for the image, here’s two blokes that absolutely reflect that mentality. Genuinely unflustered and relaxed.

15.01.2022 Embrace the things that make you, you!

14.01.2022 THANK YOU Long post to follow A month has passed since I started this page, and with plenty of work to do I’m starting to realise the merit of what I’ve been doing. Whilst I haven’t received too many stories in writing, I have been fortunate to sit down with dozens of people who have opened up to me about their own stories.... People who I’ve known for years and people who I’ve only known for hours. I’ve heard confessions of addiction, depression, social anxiety, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, love battles, self confidence and self worth just to name a few. What I’ve seen is the inspiration that each of these individuals has approached life with, that has seen them continually turn up, day in day out to overcome their demons and live their life. To all of the people who have shared stories with me, and to those wanting to, I’d like to say a huge thank you. I’d also like to remind you that you’re fucking amazing, and that you have the potential to achieve anything you put your mind to, in any area of your life. We are very much only scratching the surface, but what I know, and the advice that I have given each of these people, is that the more we share and learn from each other, the easier life gets. No one is perfect, and the presumption that we need to paint our lives in that fashion - both publicly and privately - is one that we need to overcome. Please keep sharing this page, and the message of the page so that as individuals we can continue to inspire each other through life’s shit. I remain constant in my message, we can’t control what’s happened to us, only how we react. Chase what makes you happy #storytellerprjct #inspirationalquotes #happiness #inspo #qotd #potd

12.01.2022 Quit with the comparison You are no one but yourself and the person you want to be. Social media nowadays has us comparing ourselves more than ever. The problem with that is, it’s only a comparison of life’s highlights because we rarely want to share the lowlights with anyone, let alone publicly. Embrace your weirdness. Your quirkiness. Your good and your bad. Embrace the things that make you happy, and the things that make you sad. Embrace you. ... This is a reminder that you are not anyone else but you; and what makes you unique is what makes you, you. I want to try something with this post. I want to see how many people are willing to share this in their stories, and willing to spread this message. Instagram is inundated with more influencers and public figures than ever before, which provides us with an incredible platform to start inspiring each other to do amazing things day in, day out. The financial lure or being paid to promote clothes, events, cosmetic products or otherwise is something that no one begrudges. But let’s not forget to influence the masses to want better, to do better and to be better. Share this post in your story (with that little arrow thing under the photo) and tag someone below who you think should do the same. BE YOURSELF See more

11.01.2022 All I want to do in life is make the world a better place. Help each other, to help each other

10.01.2022 Do what makes you happy; today, tomorrow and everyday after. This sunset is bloody incredible, and it’s a reminder that even at the end of the worst of days we get another crack at it tomorrow. #storytellerprjct

06.01.2022 Monday Motivation This message sums up the right way to write your own story. When I lose sight of what I want in life, I try to realign myself with what I wanted before all of life’s complications and societies expectations. Become someone that you want to be, not someone that society wants you to be. Goalcast

05.01.2022 Over the next few weeks I’ll begin to share some of the stories that have filtered in throughout the early stages of 2019. Before I do, I want to share with you the reason why I decided it was time to help people write their story their own way. The man in the picture is my uncle. In December 2017 our family noticed something wasn’t quite right. ... By March 2018, he was diagnosed with early onset dementia, and after a short but spirited fight, he succumbed to the disease on November 1st. Like most people, I had always maintained the life is precious mantra. However that fragility of life always meant that I took a cautious approach, in everything I did. I’d avoid situations to grow, conversations that would challenge me, and moments that would scare the crap out of me. I’d overthink and overanalyse every situation, and I found myself too busy worrying about how things looked in five, ten or fifteen years time to worry about living in the moment. My uncles battle made realise that not only is life precious, it’s also too fucking short to live it any other way but the way you want to. I saw a man, lose his mind, before his body at the young age of 58. I realised that at 26, if I’m to only make it to the same age, then it was time for me to start living my way and that is something that I wanted to help other people do too. I wanted to help them deal with their shit, understand their vices, embrace their quirks and to live each day. It’s okay to live life with an eye to the future, but never forget to embrace all that today has to offer. At the end of the day, a post on Instagram can’t tell you how to live your life, but if you’re struggling to decide the path you want to go down, choose the one the fucking lights you up. Choose the one that sets you on fire, and choose the one that makes you fucking happy RIP Col #storytellerprjct

05.01.2022 Something I have maintained for a long time, is that you can’t do the same thing and continue to expect different results... For some that’s perfectly fine, but for many the start of the New Year signifies new opportunities in all areas of life. I’ve spent a lot of the past 5 years banging my head against the wall and expecting things to change. I made excuses, and reasons as to why they didn’t and continually blamed something else. For me I’ve identified this next period of... my life as a major transition period. I’ve recently relocated, chosen to be far more open in my friendships and relationships and am pursuing a life long dream that in the past I had been too self self conscious about. A lot of this is scary as fuck, I’ve always been pretty safe in my approach to life and the way I interacted with other people. If you want to see change in your life, and ultimately your story, then now is the perfect time to mix things up. Fuck your toxic relationships/friendships Fuck your shitty job Fuck your negative mindset Fuck anything that’s holding you back Chase what makes you happy. #timetotalk #storytellerprjct
