13.01.2022 Each year the RCCC get together for an annual Ecumenical Service normally held at Shady Lagoon. Due to the Covid restrictions we were unable to gather together this year, however with the enthusiastic participation from our combined churches Shane Wallis has produced this service. It is a great blessing to be in a community where Christians worship together in unity in diversity.

12.01.2022 DECK THE HOMES WITH CHRISTMAS HAMPERS ‘Tis the season to be jolly as Council begins accepting donations from Monday, 2 November until Monday, 23 November to g...o toward the annual Maranoa Regional Council Christmas Hamper Appeal. Requested donations include: Monetary donations (cheque, payment at Council Customer Service, or online at https://hamper-donations2020.eventbrite.com.au) Non-perishable food items o Pasta and pasta sauce o Rice and sauce (stir fry/meal base) o Powdered mashed potatoes and gravy o Christmas cakes/puddings o Sweet biscuits o Savoury crackers o Long life custard o Long life milk (UHT). Mayor Tyson Golder said this is a fantastic opportunity for residents to spread Christmas joy across our region. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, Cr Golder said. Non-perishable food donations can be delivered to any of the region’s Council Customer Service Centres or Libraries, Roma’s St Vincent de Paul Shop or Roma’s Salvation Army Store. 09.01.2022 Keeping Gods creation beautiful.... and our porches and verandahs! This week it is Begonias!! These hardy shade lovers, can just be watered once a week, super easy to break off and strike to keep under control, kept in a pot or in a very shady protected spot in the garden. We have 9 large pink flowering and 5 smaller more low growing orange flowering begonias. $20 each! Pick up will be Thursday!
