25.01.2022 Hi parkrunners. We’re working with the council to get up and running again. We haven’t got a firm date, but as soon as we do, you’ll know! We were hoping for Dec 19th, but that isn’t happening. Sooooooon!

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, we've seen more than a few posts in local Facebook groups about the park being "incredibly crowded" at the moment. It's not surprising considering this beautiful weather and everyone spending more time indoors, just itching to get some fresh air. If you do choose to run, it's a good idea to find a less busy location. And especially don't run the parkrun course at 8AM on a Saturday! Time to explore your local streets and find some new areas! Let's all be safe and get through this together (but from a healthy distance).

10.01.2022 Hello all! Good news and less good news in the parkrun world. It looks like Tasmania, Canberra, WA and the NT are parkrunning again. Hooray! We're still waiting on confirmation about how and when we (and the rest of NSW) can start up again. There is no firm date YET. ... On a sad note, one of our long time Run Directors and super parkrunners, Simon has moved back to the UK along with his super volunteer wife, Kat and their new baby, Josie. Simon has clocked up 355 parkruns, volunteered officially 98 times (and unofficially countless times) and is a super tourist, having run a parkrun in every state and territory in Australia and many around the world. Kat is sitting on 178 parkruns and officially volunteered 32 times. Josie has been a bit lazy and is yet to do a parkrun. Being born at the end of March is really no excuse. Cheers, Paul They've been a big part of making St Peters parkrun a successful event and we're going to miss them very much. A HUGE thank you to them both for their help and friendship over the last few years!

We would ask that you all consider the following:... 1. If you’re not feeling well, take the week off. Follow health authority directions and we’ll see you again soon! 2. If you're scheduled to volunteer tomorrow and wish not to please just send us a email or message and we'll accommodate your wishes without question. 3. Stay tuned. As always, check our Facebook page or the parkrun Australia website cancellations for any developments. We believe that during challenging times it is more important than ever that communities are able to come together socially and support each other if appropriate and safe. 06.01.2022 Our course has gone through many changes over the last 8 years. There was a time when we were altering it almost every week while works were being completed in the park! Below is our original 2012 course, give it a try while we're all physically separated. Fun fact: despite altering the course 15-20 times, we never had to remove the hill :D
