18.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM STRANGE COMPANY Hi all, We thought it was about time to give you an update on how everything is going for us here at Strange Company.... In light of recent advice from the government on indoor gatherings, and as a civic duty to the community we will be reducing the capacity of Strange Company to 80 persons, effective immediately. This capacity limit will stay in place until the COVID-19 situation is under control, we are required to close our doors, or are advised otherwise by the Australian Government. We will refrain, at this point in time, from making the decision to close the venue completely as the repercussions for our staff, their families and the business would be severe, although this is a reality we are currently facing. We have complete faith in our health system being able to cope with the Coronavirus pandemic if we all take appropriate action to help the Health Department where we can in dealing with this global crisis.In these times our action will be to stand firm alongside our family of employees, local community and suppliers to weather the storm of chaos with exceptional service, conscious hygiene, fresh produce, calm humility and toilet paper. All the while, committing to aid in the slowing of the spread of the virus. Our staff are practicing exceptional hygiene at all times adhering to advice from the Australian Government Department of Health as it comes through. Every morning the venue is being deep cleaned and sanitised whilst also maintaining a continuous cycle of sanitation throughout the days and evenings. Naturally, if any staff members are showing signs of illness they will be staying home to recover and ensuring they are certified as fit to return to work before doing so. We would kindly ask that our guests respect the staff and venue by upholding the same hygiene standards that we will be adhering to and not coming to the venue if you think you have been in contact with the virus or are showing symptoms. Card payments are encouraged where possible to minimise the amount of cash handling in the business also. As the situation is rapidly changing, we will be closely monitoring the advice and recommendations from the government and expert health organisations and will be acting accordingly if anything changes on our end, youll be the first to know. We know things are uncertain at the moment, and the situation is changing quickly - but rest assured that today we are still very much here and look forward to seeing you soon.

Our at-home menu will include Whole egg Tagliatelle, Strange passata, mushroom ragu and meatballs. We also have mouth-watering chicken, lamb and bean pies in a massive family size. All our menu items are available for you to pick up and cook at home, or collect hot and ready for the table. Email us at... We'll be rolling up the big blue door on the dot, and in line with the new COVID restrictions our capacity will be capped at 60 to ensure plenty of social distancing. You'll also be served whilst sitting with all food & drink to be consumed at the table, masks will be mandatory aside from eating and drinking and dancing is strictly forbidden, so leave the moves at home (until next weekend) You've well and truly earned yourself a drink this week, so we'll see you bar-side from 6pm for a cheers or two.
