11.01.2022 The Strategic Leisure Group congratulates Parks and Leisure Australia on an excellent conference held in Cairns recently. Managing Director David Mason and Senior Consultant Jason Leslie both presented papers at the Conference. Jason teamed up with Paul Knight of Toowoomba City Council to present on master planning of greenfield precincts, while Davids workshop topic "Selling Liveability: Why it struggles against roads and pipes" generated some hot discussion and debate among attendees.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to the Toowoomba Regional Council on adopting the Concept Master Plan for the Charlton Sports Precinct. The Strategic Leisure Group lead a consortium of specialist consultants in developing the Concept Plan for the $192 million facility, which will provide major sporting and cultural opportunities for the Toowoomba region. We look forward to seeing the complex develop.

02.01.2022 Strategic Leisure Group is working with the Sunshine Coast Council to develop a Recreation Master Plan for Maleny. The draft Maleny Recreation Master Plan covers the Maleny Showgrounds, Witta Sportsground and sport and recreation uses across the Maleny Community Precinct. The Plan will consider the usage, and current sport and recreation needs of these venues over the next 15 years. The community are invited to have their say on the draft Maleny Recreation Master Plan on Saturday 6th December 2014 from 10.00am to 2.00pm outside the Maleny IGA.
