We ask that you order over the phone or use our MEDADVISOR App to place your order (and let us know you would like delivery!) ... If you place your order by 12pm, we will deliver before 5pm on the same day! All cells in the body need cholesterol, to help produce some hormones, maintain healthy nerve cells and it also helps synthesise Vitamin D. ... Too much cholesterol in the bloodstream can lead to hardening of the arteries and promote fatty deposits. This can potentially lead to dangerous blockages and narrowing of the arteries. If this happens, it could lead to a possible heart attack or stroke. Thursday through to Saturday we are able to do a cholesterol test for $12.95 in store. It’s simple and only takes a 5 minutes. Here’s a few tips before coming in to get a reading to make sure we get the most accurate results; * Take your measurements for seven days in a row at the same time each day * Do your reading before taking medication or vigorous exercise * Don’t smoke or drink caffeine for 30 mins before And don’t take it if you’re stressed or in pain as this may raise your levels.
