23.01.2022 Hey hey beautiful people! I hope you’re all well and happy Tomorrow afternoon at 4.30 we are doing a live hairbraiding workshop at The Paradise Resort. I’m going to show you how to make a cornrow with beads on the end and a hairplait with beads and feathers. To join along at home make sure you have the following materials: clips to keep the hair out of the way beads with a big hole- pony beads are a good choice ... hair elastics to tie off the end of the plait comb to section the hair piece of string about 30 cms long to thread beads into the hair. We’ve also got these great D.I.Y kits available to buy if you’d like to make your plait something really special. Each kit contains a beautiful selection of beads and feathers to make up a feather beaded plait or to finish a braid. Kits also have a bead threader and crimps to finish it off and keep it secure for weeks. Available in purple, pink, blue, black and silver, natural, rainbow, glo in the dark and UV colour change!! $12 each or 3 kits for $25. Dm me to purchase or for more info. See you tomorrow guys

10.01.2022 And THATS a wrap!! The summer season is done, and what a season it was! Thank you to all our gorgeous customers, new and repeat offenders. The Paradise Resort was overflowing with old faces and it’s always wonderful to see you guys again. And this year we had 2 new places we got to play at. A very big thank you to Ji at NRMA Treasure Island Park and Tamara at Main Beach Tourist Park for inviting us to branch out and make our mark on new turf. So many plaits..and braids...and... henna. We had so much fun hanging out and doing our thing in new places. Now to let you guys know of some of the awesome things coming next. I’ve been thinking about doing parties again. So much fun for us to do & a great way to ‘next level’ your party! News on that coming soon, in the meantime we have put together BIRTHDAY BUNDLES! Packs of 10,15,20 or 25 plaits and a special birthday gift of a wrap or anklet and bracelet for the birthday being! BB’s come with instructions, beads, threader, plaits and birthday gift. 03.01.2022 Hello dear people . I hope you are all well, healthy and happy. Today, due to the current situation, the Paradise Resort has had to cancel their Activities program which means, until further notice, I will not be available at the Resort. But...when one door closes it’s amazing what opens! I have FOREVER wanted to put my range of goodies online. I’ve had so many ideas of beautiful pieces and products that I’ve been wanting to share with you all, but they were put on the she...lf. Now I can focus on them! I’m excited about what the next few weeks ( maybe even months! ) will bring. In the meantime, I had some very keen people wanting to get their hair and henna done today. So I opened a pop up braid bar in my home! I was fortunate enough to buy one of the last 20 ltr containers of isopropyl alcohol so rest assured EVERYTHING is disinfected. If you are wanting to come visit my pop up message me for details. So what’s next? First, I’m going to sort through and organise my collection of bead boxes and jewellery that I’ve made and collected from the last 23 years. Not sure if I’m excited about that or not, but I have the time now soooo And I’m thinking of putting together something to stop the kids from sending you nuts! Do you know how long it takes to plait a whole head??? Would a couple of hours relief from, I’m boooored, there’s nothing to doooo, sound like heaven?... PLAIT PACKS coming soon. And then there’s the tutorials I’ve been promising to do about braiding and henna, draw some cool henna designs, make some beads, practice some other cool braid styles, tie dye some plaits and wraps and generally play around and make some more cool stuff and share it with you guys. I’m actually looking forward to this time out! I hope you guys are finding something fun to keep yourselves entertained.

I know this year has had a few twists and turns, what a ride it’s been! I’ve had a lot of changes too. Some changes were welcomed, some that I am creating and others were a complete surprise.
