22.01.2022 Last Friday night, our St Rita’s Under 12’s played their Touch Football Grand Final game. To give a little back ground on the year that was: The team was a new team that had not played together before The team could not train ( due to Covid) Their season was interrupted ( due to Covid)... They started off the season pretty slow with not many points scored nor wins In true St Rita’s spirit, as the season progressed, the team bound together and started winning. They won game after game and ended up in the finals. Before the team (and their parents) knew it - they made it to the Grand Finals and WON!!! Congratulations Under 12’s on an amazing season and doing not only yourselves but the school proud. Your team spirit and determination was a beautiful reflection of our school. A big thank you to our St Rita’s parents - Mr and Mrs Baker for coaching and managing the team this year.
