23.01.2022 There is no easy way to get fit. It just comes down to getting in and doing the work. Is it hard? Yes Does it hurt? Sometimes Do you have to be consistent? Yes ... Not the answers you wanted to hear? Well if you don’t do the work, then the result will be worse.

21.01.2022 The 6am Fight for Fitness crew, getting fitter and learning new skills. Every Friday morning we have this class and these regulars always give their best. As much as I love seeing their fitness improve I really love watching their skills evolve. I’m not training these amazing people to fight in a ring, but being able to defend yourself is a skill that everyone needs. Being prepared to protect yourself from violence is totally different from being violent.

Run up your street, do 10 push-ups 20 squats and repeat 5 x. ... You can pretty much always do something, it comes down to choice most times.

06.01.2022 Most of us live a comfortable existence. We have food when we want, fresh water, a roof over our heads, we drive nice cars. A consequence of this easy life is we can become soft. We lose our inbuilt ability to overcome adversity. Hardships will come to us all at random times in our life and it’s how we face these which will define us. To keep myself resilient I put myself in uncomfortable places. I challenge not only the body but the mind. I train no motivational music, no... rest periods no water, I haven’t had food for 9 hours, with less than five hours sleep. It sucks but it’s a process that makes us stronger. It can be as simple as having a glass of water and thinking to yourself it’s good I have my health. There is enough people in this world who will put you down, say nasty things to you or try to take happiness away from you. Start the day positive everyday and watch how your life will be happier.
