17.01.2022 Windows as splashbacks aren't anything new but they are forecasted to be a key design trend for 2021. A number of our plans include a window splash black, including our Ancora 280 (pictured). It isn't for everyone, but creating a splash back made from glass that looks outside has a number of benefits: It will allow light to fill the kitchen providing a sense of space and luxury. A glass panel is actually quite easy to maintain and clean (we often have people worry that i...t will get dirty easily). We're not going to sugar-coat it, it will get splashes of grime from cooking, but cleaning glass is far easier than cleaning intricate tile/grout work (particularly over time). You won't lose storage space. Having the window splash back on an external wall allows you to keep cabinetry above the window. Plus, you'll have a much nicer outlook whilst you're stirring that risotto on the stove top for half an hour!

It can be hard to find a good plan, since so many homes are designed around a double garage. If you plan to extend later the Cedar 164s simple shape means options abound for future expansion!
