04.01.2022 EXPLANATION OF 12 SERIES A 12 series is made up of 3 sets of 4 sessions, simply put, there is a beginning, a middle & an end. The 1st set works the superficial Myofascial Lines (trains), the 2nd set exposes the Deep front line to scrutiny & the 3rd set is where the Integration occurs in the structure of the human body to either stand or sit stationary or to be able to move, in any way or manner of purpose. There are goals within a 12 series to help you alleviate the pain or ...discomfort you have been experiencing in your life and also to aid you to increase your awareness of what your body is sensing at all times, therefore increasing your adaptability of movement in your life Sessions 1 through to 4 work are in this order (1) Superficial Front Line [SFL] (2) Superficial Back Line [SBL] (3) Lateral Line [LL] (4) Spiral Line [SPL]. These sessions will look at the imbalances across the joints throughout the body but focus on the more superficial tissue of the body and also, these lines can be connected to deeper underlying issues trapped in the body. Also, it exposes the instability that also may cause movement problems that have led to pain or discomfort in your, or simply change the way you move in your daily routines Sessions 4 through to 8 focus on the Deep Front Line [DFL] These sessions work towards bring stability to the body by focusing on the tissue that is not functioning to enable pain-free efficient movement. This line can be situated in the toes & all the way up to the skull. If the tissue in the DFL is trapped, the muscles located within the DFL will not function efficiently and therefore your stability can be comprised. This is more than just releasing or stretching the tissue it brings you the stability that we all require to participate in life. The importance of this line is underlined by devoting 4 sessions to this line Sessions 9 through to 12 are devoted towards Integrating your fascially balanced body so you can become aware of how to move freely, efficiently but even better, be pain-free. At the conclusion of these sessions/series, you should have a sensation of your head sitting on top of your spine and situated above your feet & be able to do this with ease. Also, a sense of freedom from your shoulders into arms & hands. You will also have your own personalised set of movement exercises to help maintain the sense of change in your body as well able to do any movement with ease so you don't keep coming back year after year Better still your pain/stiffness should be diminished if not gone Enquire next time you see me or just call me, or book online. Let me help you bring that spring back into your step Click on the link to view Thomas Myers explain the 12 series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jP1O8MLhH0 Also, watch what the testimonial of a client who completed a 12 series experienced

03.01.2022 WHAT IS A STRUCTURAL INTEGRATOR? WHAT IS A ANATOMY TRAINS STRUCTURAL INTEGRATOR? The reason I put these 2 questions together is that a structural integrator, in... short, is a bodyworker that assesses where your body's posture is rotated, tilted, shifted or bent due to either accident, injuries, sport, work or simply lifestyle It is a systemised process which is committed to letting you rediscover how to move again & to overcome that trauma or injury that is consistently reminding you of how not to move or even cause pain which can be debilitating for some people The freedom that you enjoy from these sessions then needs to be integrated back into your regular daily movement. Every person is unique in how they move and cope with their pain & trauma but with these sessions, your individual movement characteristics are the primary concern during the process An "Anatomy Trains" Structural Integrator has undergone training from Thomas Myers and an inspirational team of teachers, who has undertaken extensive research on Fascia and human anatomy, & trained with many of the great influential bodyworkers/Structural Integrators that have come before us IN the coming weeks & months I will give a short outline on the work I do as a structural integrator to assist you in understanding the movement of your body and help alleviate that recurring pain you may be experiencing I am very passionate in Structural Integration's ability to aid people in how to move so please spread the word and share it with your friends
