18.01.2022 NUMERO A group of Year 6 Carramar students competed in the AFG Interschool Numero Challenge, testing their problem solving and teamwork skills. One of our teams placed fifth out of 18 teams a great achievement given they’ve only been learning the game since the start of the year. A big thank you to Jennifer Langley for training our superstars!

14.01.2022 TRANSITION Duncraig Year 10 mentors gave Year 7s a taste of life in Year 8-12 Houses recently with a special session exploring, playing games, hunting for treasure and more! Students across both year groups had heaps of fun getting to know one another and Year 10s can’t wait for Year 7s to join them in the Houses next year.

12.01.2022 ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE Kaya! We started NAIDOC Week with a wonderful Welcome to Country from Aboriginal Elder Maitland Hill, of KaarakDreaming, over the weekend. This week has been filled with loads of classroom activities teaching students and staff about Australia’s first people. Our Libraries have proudly shown displays of books and some of our students have even taken part in creating their own Indigenous-inspired artworks.

11.01.2022 FUSION Spectacular colour, texture, design and creativity came together at Carramar’s Fusion exhibition. Art, Design and Technology pieces were displayed by students from across the campus including colourful, eye-catching artworks by young students, detailed woodwork and metalwork pieces, mouth-watering cake decorations, thought-provoking artworks, photography, detailed self-portraits and much more.
