20.01.2022 Queensland's border is open from July 10, except to Victoria. A border declaration will be required stating the traveler has not been to Victoria in the last 14... days. A $4000 fine applies for falsifying the declaration. Travelers who have been in Victoria would need to quarantine at their own expense for 2 weeks. From this Friday, 3 July, restrictions within Queensland will ease. Children's sport, contact sport, spectators, bars, pokies, casinos and churches are back. Social distancing of 1.5m is still required. Weddings are lifted to 100 people. Smaller restaurants of 100-200m2 can have 1 person per 2 square meters, capped at 50. The 4m2 rule applies to concerts. 15.01.2022 FEAST OF MARY MACKILLOP - MASS LIVESTREAM SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST, 11AM An invitation from the Sisters of Saint Joseph: "All are welcome to join in the liturgy bei...ng held in our Chapel at Kensington in South Australia. The chapel would normally be overflowing on August 8th with people gathering for Mass to celebrate Mary’s feast. With COVID-19 restrictions in place, only small numbers can attend. We are fortunate, though, to be able to utilize the resources of our Archdiocese to live stream this Mass on Saturday. Our new Archbishop Patrick O’Regan, who only took up this role in May, will be leading this celebration. We warmly invite you to link into the website of the Adelaide Archdiocese to ‘gather online’ with others across Australia, New Zealand and beyond to celebrate this feast day." Click on the link to join mass on Saturday 8th August at 11.00am: https://adelaide.catholic.org.au//coronavirus-updat/videos This Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Australian Central Standard Time. (For Eastern states, this will be 11am, WA: 9am, NZ: 1pm; Peru: 8pm Friday) Some video images of the chapel and the Mary MacKillop Museum will also feature in the telecast. (For those who can’t access it at the set time, the Mass will remain on the website to be viewed later.)

14.01.2022 2020 St Thomas’ Parish Sacramental Program This year has been an extraordinary year, and due to COVID-19, the Sacramental Program was not going ahead. An information session will be held on Tuesday 13th October at 6pm at St Thomas’ Church for parents who would like to find out more about this year’s Sacramental Program. The Program is open to all students who have been baptised in the Catholic Faith in Year 4 or above. Please contact the Parish Office on 40 921 077 if you require any further information.
