10.01.2022 Jesus told us to love thy neighbor. Never has this been more important. Check on your neighbors, your friends and loved ones and care for one another just as He would care for us. Support your local small businesses and markets and buy fresh food - and its much easier to social distance at an open air small market! St Thomas and St Patricks Churches remain open for private prayer and reflection and our Mass times are currently unchanged. We continue to pray for calm and for the health of our community.

07.01.2022 Here are some thoughts from Father Sam on the current guidance for our Parishes: The Archbishop of Sydney has issued a blanket dispensation from the obligation to Sunday Mass until further notice for anyone who finds themselves or a close family to be at risk from Coronavirus. This is particularly relevant for our elderly Parishioners. There are many ways to draw close to Jesus including at Adoration, visiting the Church for private prayer, making a spiritual communion and pa...rticipating through live streamed Mass from St Marys Cathedral. Jesus taught us that others would know we are his disciples by our love for each other. In order to maintain our sense of family and community, we are asking adult members of our Parish to provide their email and mobile details so we can utilise different technologies to keep in touch as a Parish. Please feel free to email [email protected] with your details to stay connected. These are challenging times and for many of us, they can lead to increased feelings of isolation and anxiety. You may also be under financial stress or at risk of being unemployed during the Pandemic and need basic help with essentials such as food and medicines. 06.01.2022 Sadly with the ban of the Australian Federal Government and NSW State Governments on opening places of worship today from noon the Churchs of St Thomas Lewisham and St Patricks Summer Hill are closed for an indefinite period in accordance with the Archbishop of Sydneys edict.
