21.01.2022 Busy morning in the salon with these lucky kiddos! Christmas School holidays for them means they can pick and choose how they want their hair. This year the request was a bit crazier than usual but after how crappy 2020 has been - why not !? Lucky their mumma is a hairdresser tho hey?! x L

20.01.2022 Is it even work when you get to do one of your closest friends hair??! After nagging her about a year to let me do it, she finally caved! 18.01.2022 Today we toned and cooled down Kristie’s hair for a lower maintenance style. Root stretch and darker blonde on the ends hydrating and adding shine! Thanks for coming x L

17.01.2022 I can’t believe it’s school holiday’s again already! I still have a few spots available this week and next week for some kids hair cuts! Get them looking and feeling fresh ready for the last term. Kids hair cuts are $15. x L

16.01.2022 Shyla came in today with a vision of an ombré brown to blonde! I think we met the criteria ! And best of all- no maintenance as the colour grows out. Loved having you here today x L

15.01.2022 Wow! I have not had time to post much at all the last week! I have been flat chat in the salon in the run up to Christmas- trying to squeeze as many as my lovely clients in as possible! But right now- that’s a wrap! I will be taking the next few days off to spend with my family as Lucas has his 7th birthday tomorrow before Christmas festivities begin! ... Wishing all my clients a safe and happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all again soon x L

14.01.2022 My beautiful cousin came in today and we started the process of going back blonde! We don’t always know how hair is going to react when we lighten previously box coloured hair- however today it developed quite well all things considered. The ends are a bit dry but a few treatments will help that out! Can’t wait for the next session to get even lighter always love catching up with with my cousin, makes my heart smile x L

14.01.2022 As I’m sure all my clients are now aware- we are going into lockdown at midnight tonight for the next 6 days. Any appointments standing I will contact you and reschedule as soon as possible. 13.01.2022 Had my wonderful cousin back in the salon today. Her hair has been a work in progress- but progress we have made! Kicking out as much of the warmth today as possible and really lightening and brightening it all up! Finishing with a health trim all over and a Khairpep mask. Thanks Kelly for spending your Sunday arvo with us and the kiddies

12.01.2022 Good afternoon ! Just a quick information post! I have had an influx of some absolutely beautiful new clients. I love meeting new people and making hair goals I thought I would take a quick minute to explain how I work with new clients looking at booking in The first step is to come in for a consultation- this is important so we can figure out exactly what you are after and I can break down the cost and the possible plan for how many sessions it may take to achieve a c...ertain look. The next step is just as important and it’s a skin test- this will check for any allergies to any chemical I use. Now it’s not a hugely common thing to have a reaction- but safety and your health is important . This test must be done a minimum of 48 hours prior to any hair colour service as it can take that long to produce an allergic reaction. It’s a really quick test- a tiny swab of the colour swatched behind the ear or on the inner arm. I know sometimes we want to get booked in as soon as possible so I always try my best to get the consultation appointment made as soon as I can. Once we do this skin test- we won’t need to re test again for another 6 months. I hope this information might be useful for those looking at booking in . Have a great afternoon x L

09.01.2022 Lighting is everything! Indoors vs outdoors , warm lighting vs cool lighting can dramatically change a photo! Spent the afternoon with a regrowth colour and a high lift toner to clean out those warmer ends to a beautiful sandy pearly blonde , a big chop and a reshape to bring back the life and bounce and get rid of those dry split ends! A quick tong and pincurl to give it added shape and curl x L

09.01.2022 Today the lovely Renee stopped in for some TLC Our aim for today’s appointment was to cool down the warmth as much as possible to be close to her natural brown. A few face framing foils to blend the natural platinums for low maintenance between appointments. Renee mostly wears her hair up and off her face but today was a nice change to have it down and straight. Thanks so much for coming today Renee . x L

08.01.2022 After a big rest from our past colour removal session- today we finally got to even out the all over tone of Melinda’s colour . This is only the second session but very pleased with our results! Thanks for coming today x L

07.01.2022 Red is in season! I don’t think it ever really went out of season to be honest tho and that’s fine by me because I LOVE me a good red hair colour ! Today we refreshed Kristen’s root melt dark to bright red with a treatment to help hydrate and seal in the colour. Thanks for coming in today, for the conversations , always good fun and a laugh ! x L

06.01.2022 Last time we played with red tones- this time we started to mute it down and start to brighten Susie’s hair up for the summer weather A good chop of length and we have shape and bounce back into her hair! Love spending time with this beautiful soul Always a pleasure! x L

06.01.2022 1 year ago today- I made a decision to open up a studio salon! Whilst I’m not at the 1 year mark of being officially open to clients- the year has gone crazy fast and I have come a long way, all things considered for 2020! I just want to take a moment to thank all my friends , family and of course my clients for all the support over the last 12 months! It’s been a wild ride! I’m so grateful for each and every one of you x L

05.01.2022 Mel came in this morning wanting a change from the normal foils we do. So today we did a 3 toned root melt and all over colour. As you can see it came out so creamy and soft! Thankyou for trusting me as always ! x L

05.01.2022 Well it’s finally finished! My beautiful and talented friend @ Tattoos by Krystle Has worked with me to create my new business logo! I’m so glad to have her creativity and input- this is not my creative field. Signage will be going up on the shop front and on the car in the coming days! So keep an eye out for me x L

04.01.2022 Today Vanessa came in for part two of her colour removal and toner towards her goal colour of a rose/ strawberry blonde. We had level 2 regrowth that needed lifting at the start. Very happy with today’s results x L

04.01.2022 Melissa’s hair has been a work in progress! Today we did half a head of baby lights in blonde with a few scattered darker blonde. Cleaning out her warmer tones that were residual from being brown a few months ago! Thanks for coming today ! x L
