25.01.2022 Yucca no more... removal and stump grinding of these yuccas... never to be seen again

23.01.2022 2020 Premiers Good fun... It still feels good at 41... Great bunch of blokes. Pleasure to be a part of it. Thanks for welcoming my kids and I back into the club I started at in 1998 @morningside_panthers

22.01.2022 Looks like an easy job hey... Well this one was tough. The garden beds were full of river rocks and one garden bed had the water mains running through it. Rocks are a killer for my machine and we need them cleared before we can start.

22.01.2022 One of those jobs where the photos don’t do justice to work completed. The front stump was a medium sized leopard Extremely hard and with 1000 roots to chase.. Makes it all the easier when you’re doing the work for nice people

21.01.2022 Golden cane palm removal A very popular palm here in South East Queensland. However, they can be messy and outgrow their space quite quickly. With a large root system it’s important to have them ground out 200-300mm below ground where possible. Golden canes account for approximately 40-50% of our work

20.01.2022 Guess the phrase... (Hint- 3 words) Prize... coffee voucher worldwide (I’ll ring your local coffee shop and shout you coffee )

19.01.2022 We are supporting and participating in @movember this month. I have 3 young men and I want to show them that a real man talks about their problems and finds (with help) solutions for them. I’m far from a great role model in doing such.. but am trying hard, and one day soon I would like to see ‘mental health’ sit comfortably beside ‘physical health’ and for the stigma to fade away into the sunset Anyone wishing to donate or join in is welcome Keep an eye out for our Mo’s

18.01.2022 Unconditional Love A great week at work! Worked every hour the sun was up Made people happy Felt good doing so... Life’s good Have a great weekend friends! Go Lions

16.01.2022 A day of cleaning, servicing and maintenance of all trucks and machinery. Ready for the last 30 days of work for 2020!

16.01.2022 Today’s monster fig.. photos don’t quite do it justice... 3 solid hours of grinding on this one to get the job done

16.01.2022 A difficult grind with this Bamboo in a tricky spot and wedged up against a fence. I rarely promise 100% removal with Bamboo. Aim is for 100% but usually 90%-95% is a great outcome and saves a lot of hard manual work.

16.01.2022 This job was a lot tougher than it looked! Big, old dry gums with nails in them.. Went through a few chains.. but got there in the end! Certainly helps when on the way out you are given some beers Thank you BentSpoke Brewing Co! Will be trying them this arvo!

15.01.2022 Palm tree stumps on the way out

15.01.2022 Lest we forget ~ Thank you

14.01.2022 And... they are all at high school... Thinking of all the mums and dads out there with a tear in their eye this morning Back to the grind on my own..

13.01.2022 An incredibly hard stump to grind but we got there in the end

12.01.2022 Back to the grind! A nice challenge first up today on these old hard concrete gums @toroaus and new teeth making it look easy on the hilly terrain Happy Monday

11.01.2022 One minute we’re fishing, boating and relaxing and the next we are back on the grind... Squeezed this monster in this afternoon for our client who was on a diminishing timeline. We really get a kick out of helping others and doing our best to help / problem solve when a challenge arises. Happy Friday P.S The machine is 2.4m long, this stump dwarfed the @toroaus But was no match for it in the end Toro-2457 V stumps-0

11.01.2022 A nice big solid grind on this one. I was able to lightly grind 360’ around the stump and get a low cut on it with the saw. I also had some help from some fiends on the inside Once done it was coming home with me to the fire pit

11.01.2022 Meet Ruby! A very lovely lady who helped me more than she will ever know. After a pretty trying day I decided to squeeze in a quote before dark so I could lighten my load a little for tomorrow. Ruby had a few old stumps in and around her garden that she wanted to get rid of. Ruby is a pensioner and has been on her own for some years now since the passing of her husband. As we walked around her yard she was pointing out the main stumps she’d like gone and mentioned that the... other ones would cost too much so they could be left. By this stage I had already made my mind up that I was going to do all the stumps, and do it free of charge. There is something wonderful about doing something for someone without expecting anything in return... a wave of all those good feelings... I completed the job and Ruby was very happy. She gave me a muesli bar for the drive home, an avocado off her tree, and one of her craft items that she made. No hug due to Covid... but two humans who were left feeling better about the world on this lovely Tuesday evening Thank you Ruby

04.01.2022 Hello friends I’m stumped... taking a couple of days off to go camping with my boys Happy (school) holidays Back on deck Friday

04.01.2022 Australia’s hardest stump! But no match for a good machine @toroaus a good operator, and 3 classic artists pumping through the headphones Blue ain’t your colour Keith Urban Flame Trees Jimmy Barnes Cold Chisel Rhiannon Fleetwood Mac

01.01.2022 Regrinding some big stumps.. Unfortunately the first stump grinder didn’t go low enough.. You can see in the photos where they have skimmed the top barely taking it below ground level. My client painstakingly dug around the entire stumps and roots leaving them exposed. I wish I could contact the first stump grinder to help teach them that an extra 30 minutes or so and a little deeper the whole stump is gone... But maybe they were in a hurry

01.01.2022 It’s been a while between drinks when it comes to stumps this size.. Keep in mind the machine is 2.4 metres long. At its widest point this Camphor Laurel stump and roots was 4.5 metres wide
