25.01.2022 I finally finished crocheting my beanie, it only took me two months! If you want to have a go at making your own winter accessory, have a look at Bella Coco Crochet’s page. Her patterns and tutorials are fab and inclusive of us left-handers!

22.01.2022 Stepping out to a W A R D R O B E session in Hillarys. Jeans-shirt-blazer was calling me today. Two clients in one week, big week for SbD and loving it!

20.01.2022 The glitz and glamour of Hollywood is calling... Off to my annual Oscars party with my friends to watch Academy Awards 2020! Can’t wait to see all of this year’s red carpet dresses. S E Q U I N S + R U F F L E S are appropriate in today’s outfit. Will be posting my ‘Best Dressed’ later on...

20.01.2022 Can you see the huge smile on my client Lori’s gorgeous face? We had a fantastic and fun day in the city together and ticked every single item off her shopping list (and there were quite a few items on that list I might add). There were items strictly off the list too. Her C A P S U L E S U M M E R W A R D R O B E is now revived and complete. She knows exactly which pieces to pair together including matching accessories and shoes. She’s more informed on styles and colours to suit her body shape, skin tone and lifestyle. She now feels confident, excited, reinvigorated. This is shopping when done with a Personal Stylist. Dx

19.01.2022 Who says winter is grey? Just because it’s grey and miserable outside, doesn’t mean your outfit has to be.

18.01.2022 * * Here’s a Fun Fashion Tip for you this Friday * * Have you ever thought of your S O C K S as an accessory you can play around and have fun with? You can bring attention to your outfit with brightly coloured socks (like my fuchsia pink ribbed pair above), striped socks or other patterned socks and make your ordinary outfit combinations more interesting. Such an easy, simple way to add more energy and vibrancy to your outfit and style. ... Bet that’s a new perspective on socks for you!

18.01.2022 I was recently contacted by Community News and PerthNow to share my advice and tips on S H O P P I N G for S W I M W E A R and styles that are on trend as well as my personal recommendations. Chuffed to see that my words have been published in this week’s Community News local newspapers all around Perth and in their digital editions! Perth people, check the Fashion page of your issue for Are you summer ready? feature. And if you’re not in Perth, not to worry, I want to s...hare my S W I M W E A R T I P S with you below: * * * Swimwear Shopping * * * Be prepared to go up a size or two. Swimwear sizing is known to be inconsistent and usually runs small. Embrace a high-cut leg as it creates the illusion of longer, leaner legs. With separates, mix and match for the perfect fit on the top and bottom, and mix up colours too for a more interesting look. Take a changing-room selfie. Many change-rooms are small with bad lighting and it can be hard to see how you really look. Go away and if you like the photo later, you can go back to purchase it. Go neon it will make your skin tone or tan pop. * * * Swimwear Trends * * * Follow the trend with a one-shoulder design or retro swimsuit with high waist. Luxe textures such as ribbed and metallics and string/floss straps are ‘in’ as are details such as belts, rings and hoops.

17.01.2022 Missing wearing something sparkly and shiny and just generally getting dressed up to go somewhere nice, so posting some sparkle today. Who else misses dressing up..? Also wondering whether to go shorter again with my hair... Love how a new, fresh cut or style can transform your look. Always helps when you have a wonderful hairdresser too!

16.01.2022 This W I N T E R Y O U T F I T on repeat this week.

14.01.2022 Breathe life into your W I N T E R W A R D R O B E with a pop of R E D. A key colour for this Autumn/Winter and next. Choose vibrant shades like poppy, raspberry, cherry or burnt red. Combine with black, monochrome outfits or mix with other colours. Red brings energy and flamboyance to your look!

11.01.2022 Footwear trends this winter season include U T I L I T Y B O O T S . I could not be without mine especially on rainy days like today; warm, waterproof, comfy and stylish. I like to pair mine with something feminine (like this skirt) to balance their masculine style, but they go with almost anything; jeans, pants, dresses, tights, skirts... Do you have a pair??

11.01.2022 As we’re now in Phase 3, I’m thrilled to tell you all that I’m finally B A C K T O W O R K ! If getting out your front door with your lockdown style behind you is on your to-do list, then get in touch as I would love to help!

10.01.2022 H A P P Y M O N D A Y ! Keeping snuggly and warm in this animal print jumper today - can you spot my belt bag? It actually blends nicely with the jumper! Love a bum bag or belt bag these days, so good to be hands and shoulders free at times especially with little ones around. Who else is a fan? And/or do you need one..? Comment below. #styledbydanyel #morningcoffeerun

06.01.2022 Stepping out to a P E R S O N A L S H O P P I N G session this morning with the lovely Lori. Very excited about what I have in store for her, quite literally! It’s going to hit 36 degrees in Perth today so I pulled out the lightest dress I could find, wide brim straw sun hat (a must when shopping al fresco), and comfy sandals to do lots of standing and walking in. But first stop - school run! Have a marvellous Monday! Dx #styledbydanyel

04.01.2022 4 blouses, 4 b e a u t i f u l dresses, a jacket, a pair of shorts, a summer hat, a cardigan and a good quality undergarment; a very successful shopping day! And so much fun and giggles along the way!

03.01.2022 Stepping out to a styling session for a winter work wardrobe this morning! Cant wait to help this lady build a capsule workwear wardrobe for the winter months. Wearing red again, of course ;-)

02.01.2022 Isn’t this something so many of us learn as we get older? ________________________________________________ It’s important to look and feel good based on your own standards and no one else’s. If you spend too much time trying to impress others, you’re wasting your time. Trying to improve your look in order to seek acceptance from others won’t make you happy either and anyone who thinks less of you based on what brand you wear or on your unique style is not worth your company. Dress for yourself.

01.01.2022 What a stop-start year this has turned out to be for so many of us! I am out of action again but this time for another reason. I had a little operation recently which means I’m unable to help lovely ladies with their wardrobes, clothes and shopping in person as I won’t be able to walk for a little while (hence the crutches)! Rest assured, I plan to be back late August and I’m taking this time to create some exciting new things as well as to enjoy these winter days at home with my young family who have been taking very good care of me while I slowly get back on my feet. Thank you to so many of you who have been in touch. Dx
