25.01.2022 Fresha has created more notification options for my appointments scheduled. You will now receive a message regarding a "no show" to your appointment and asking to contact me regarding my cancellation/rebooking policy. I can also add a second reminder message. Who would prefer a message on the day 2-3 hours prior or would you prefer 48-72 hours notice as well as or instead of the 24 hours notice? I dont want to confuse everyone because it has been 24 hours reminder for the ...last 4 years. FEEDBACK please x

24.01.2022 After watching 60 minutes and they are giving an insight to the Coronavirus. For my families and my health interests I have decided that if any of my customers have travelled overseas that they stay away from the salon for 14 days unless they have had testing and have been cleared and anyone with flu symptoms 14 days or unless tested and cleared. Please do not be offended by this post and prepare to be turned away if you enter my house with cold and flu symptoms as Im sure... you are all aware I have a big clientele base which means my family and I are at risk. Please understand and maybe go to the 60 minutes page and it will help you understand what this virus is all about. It has opened my eyes thats for sure. Thank you everyone

24.01.2022 STOP!!!!!! Check in with your hairdresser, you know, that lady you have trusted for years, sometimes decades!!! The one who knows your hair inside out and always puts your hairs integrity first! Some of us are open and have legally been allowed to trade this whole time! In Queensland we had restrictions and regulations placed on our business to keep everyone safe but we were NOT forced to close. That was a personal choice and due to the size of my business and safe location... I chose to stay open. So before you grab that disgusting home dye and ruin your hard work and healthy hair stop and check that we cant safely fit you in for a colour. Before you buy some concoction online from someone who has no idea about your hair or its history, message you hair goddess. Before you turn your blonde hair gold or blue DM your salon. 19.01.2022 Good morning clients Great news with this mornings Covid-19 update, lockdown finishes at 6pm tonight. However, inline with Queensland Government guidelines the wearing of masks in public places where social distancing is not possible is still in place for the next 10 days. ... This means until Friday 22nd January 2021, whilst attending your appointment you are required to carry a mask and wear it when social distancing is not possible inside the salon. I also require to to use the salon QR code to check in as you enter the salon. Also it's important that you are aware of how many clients are already in the salon before you enter as we are restricted to 1 person per 4m. This may mean parents and siblings having consecutive appointments may need to wait outside. 17.01.2022 BREAKING: The lockdown ends at 6pm tonight, but some precautions will remain in Greater Brisbane for 10 days until 1am on Friday, 22 January. You must carry a... mask at all times. Masks must be worn in indoor places including shopping centres and supermarkets, gyms, places of worship, libraries, public transport, and taxis and rideshare vehicles. Masks must be worn in workplaces if social distancing isn’t possible and it’s safe to do so. You don’t need to wear a mask in private vehicles, while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re outside doing strenuous exercise. Businesses and venues can have one person per 4m indoors and one person per 2m outdoors. Smaller venues up to 200m can have one person per 2m up to a maximum of 50. You must be seated to eat and drink, and no dancing is allowed except at weddings. Gatherings are restricted to 20 people in homes and public spaces. Weddings and funerals can have up to 100 people, and dancing is allowed at weddings without restrictions. Due to the nature of our work, I have extremely close contact with our customers. This will open us up to the risk of infection and possibly passing on said infection to others. In the salon, I treat a variety of people ranging from young to the elderly. I also have customers and family who suffer from conditions that render them completely and sicknes...ses can be fatal for them. As a result my time is more valuable and sort after than ever.
