25.01.2022 I may be closing down for a couple of weeks over the Christmas and New Year break, but I won't leave you hanging. I have made up some USB Memory Sticks to provide you with a Yoga practice to continue with. Each Memory Stick has two different one hour Yoga Class Video's, two Guided Yoga Nidra Meditations and at only $39.99 its a great way to continue your Yoga practice. ... Plug directly into your TV, Laptop, PC, audio device e.g. stereo or bluetooth speaker which takes USB, and practice alone or with the family. Each class has correct alignment cues, variations, and is suitable for all abilities. As I always say, "go to YOUR edge, we are exactly where we are meant to be in our practice." If you have yet to come to one of my classes, perhaps you have been concerned about your ability. This may be an opportunity for you to try in the privacy of your own home. If you would like to grab yourself one of these USB Memory Sticks, let me know so I can ensure I have enough on hand. I have a card reader in the studio to make payments easy.

14.01.2022 Our Family Yoga Classes have been soo fun. The laughter and connection which fills this class is beautiful. Here are some pictures from our class last Thursday, which I gained permission, from my amazing families, to post. Due to a cancellation I do have one family spot free for the remaining four weeks, this would be at a reduced cost of $80 for the entire four weeks, for the whole family. This class is held on a Thursday evening at 5:45pm.

12.01.2022 These two lovely little ladies, had a fantastic time at the Kid's Yoga Class last Thursday. Prior to Thursday, before last they had never met, and instantly enjoyed working together as a team. They were so excited about the idea of working together to create some beautiful pose's and very much wanted me to take some photos for them to look back on and share with their families and friends. Their parents were kind enough to let me also share these pics here with you

12.01.2022 I am very excited to announce that Yin Yoga will be coming to the class schedule in the New Year Yin Yoga originates from China and is based on the Chinese Taoist principles, which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. When we stretch, hold a pose for 3-4 minutes and relax into the poses, we release energy blockages allowing the energy to flow freely.

12.01.2022 The beauty of technology allows you to still complete your Yoga practice even when you can’t physically make it to the class

11.01.2022 There is still time, to take much needed time for you, before our Holiday Season Close on the 24th December. Don't forget if you can not make it in, Online Live Classes are also available

09.01.2022 For me personally, Yoga is soo much more than teaching you to become physically flexible and more about teaching you to become flexible within the mind. Flexibility of the mind is my passion and what I hope to show others. It is a life long practice of learning, growth, reflection and awareness. It is not about being the best, it is about being better than you were yesterday

08.01.2022 Looking for something a little different to experience? A Soundbath maybe just that something, placed are limited so be sure to book your spot for Sunday the 6th December, here at 13 Barter St

06.01.2022 I am soo excited for all of the new classes which will be coming your way soon I am in Brisbane this weekend completing my Restorative Yoga Training. Restorative Yoga is exactly that Restorative. With longer Pose holds and the use of props for support, this form of yoga allows you to truly let go of the physical body, promoting relaxation & restoration . Last week I completed my Yoga Nidra Training. What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is conscious relaxation, like a deep s...leep while you are still awake. This ancient practice is becoming more popular as a form of meditation and mind-body therapy. On top of all of this I also started my Yin Yoga Training on Thursday. Unlike Hatha Yoga, which originates from India. Yin Yoga originated from China. Yin Yoga is based on the Chinese Taoist principles which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. When we stretch, hold a pose for 3-4 minutes and relax into the poses, we release energy blockages allowing the energy to flow freely. Hatha Yoga principals and beliefs are actually very similar beliefs Sounds pretty perfect as we head into the crazy Christmas season, which can bring with it a fair amount of stress and pressure

06.01.2022 Because even the best of us need a little support from time to time, both on the Yoga mat and off, I have purchased some Yoga blocks for your use. More coming soon Yoga mats are also available if you would like to come along but do not have a mat of your own

05.01.2022 Well this is different

05.01.2022 Just incase you wondered exactly what Namaste translates to: "A traditional Indian greeting, it literally translates to I bow to you (namah or namas, meaning bow, te meaning you). In India, the gesture of Anjali Mudra (prayer position of the hands) not only accompanies the word, but is synonymous with its meaning."

02.01.2022 A Simple little Breathing Tip to help get you through the Silly Season. It can be done anywhere, for as long as required, whenever the need arises

01.01.2022 Why is this statement soo true? When you are doing Yoga your whole focus is on your breath and how your body moves. It is on you, in that moment, with no thoughts of the past or future. You are truly in the moment, gaining awareness of yourself. When you do this often, your transformation begins
