20.01.2022 Last week Yukari and her artists made "Fukuwarai'' (Lucky Laugh in English), which is an old Japanese game for children. They also found time to do a dollhouse, using recyclable materials and sustainable products. They had a lot of fun! The 2020 Art on Fences program has officially finished with an exhibition at the Substation gallery in Paddington, where the authors, the businesses and owners of fences, volunteers and guests gathered to celebrate this year's program. We would like to express our gratitude to Cr Peter Matic and the Paddington Ward Office for initiating this fantastic opportunity and providing their support and guidance.... We had a great privilege to work with very talented artists (and amazing human beings) whose artwork has brought a lot of colour to our suburb. Thank you. Thank you to all business owners and residents for your participation, support and involvement in this program. Also, a massive thank you to all volunteers and event organisers for making it happen. Last but not least, thank you to our amazing residents and visitors for joining us on the day.
