I always feel that my life is a #joyride, & although this year has seen the utterly untimely, devastating loss of one of my dearest #verve -loving (I'm a #moet girl though) friends of over 20 years, closely followed by my brother-in-law, I am so #thankful that I am literally surrounded by the absolute best people I could hope for. 22.01.2022 What to say... I say Thank You. To my clients, my venues, the derbyverse & my friends. Your support has made such a difference in my & my family's lives.... I was so wrapped up in the Corona Virus thing that I missed the 5 YEAR milestone of Subtle Visage on 23rd March completely. Whodathunkit???? I wish you: All the hand sanitizer you can handle (there's a brewing company in Brisbane who will have bulk supplies from 1st April if you can wait that long). May your bog roll last longer than your emissions. (I did see a collective of 5 packets on the shelves at Caboolture Coles yesterday...) & I humbly pray (bonus 'thoughts' included) that you & your loved ones manage to avoid this virus. May we meet again on the other side...

22.01.2022 Ok, I'll admit that I've been dithering. My position is balancing (as my close friends would expect) precisely on the wire between stay home & go to work. I've had pneumonia, when I lived in Melbourne & it's part of the reason that I live in QLD. My lungs simply don't cope with even a chill, let alone a common cold.... Yet I simply can't bear the thought that people that I care about will be in physical or mental pain while we're healthy. Royal Rumble & The Great Southern Slam are postponed or cancelled. The Prime Minister has decreed that Beauty Salons can stay open. I have bookings at Beachmere on Wed & Mountain on Thurs. There are also a couple of available spots in both locations. I'll leave it up to you. My hygiene standards are nuts, but then, they always have been. Stay safe my friends & let's hope we all get through this together xx

16.01.2022 He was given #medical leave to recover from smoke inhalation from fighting the local #fires. They called him, he went back out there. Last night, instead of our regular deep tissue, it was all tapotement to help loosen the ash & smoke from his lungs. By the end, all I could smell was #bushfire smoke. #thankyou to all the firies out there who are putting their health & lives on the line in these, literally, catastrophic conditions

13.01.2022 I'm baaaack!! Best.holiday.ever. You know how you expect several things to go wrong when you're away, & you chalk it up as 'life happens'... Nothing went wrong. At all. Cyclone Oma buggered off, planes, coaches & superferries all went perfectly & Castaway Island Fiji was still the island paradise we've come to love & expect. We even renewed our wedding vows! ... I spent more time in the water, between snorkeling, the beach & the pools; than out of it, I swear it took 5 days for the sea legs to smooth out again! I feel amazing.
