Anna Weir (McGahan) is an actor and writer, for Australian film, television and theatre. She is passionate about spiritual revival and restoration within the performing arts industries, and founded the collective ‘The Fireplace’ in 2015, as a space to encourage missional artistry. She writes on creativity, femininity and spirituality, and has recently finished her first book, ‘Metanoia’.

10.01.2022 My turn! So, we begin this thing on Sunday, and why exactly are we doing this? Because I was asked by too many women to keep ignoring the ask ... 'We want a mod...ern, fun space, where we can learn what the Bible says about women, gender, work, preaching, marriage, single life, sex and relationships; a space where we can meet with God, whatever path we are on and whether marriage and motherhood is in our purview or not'. So, in an effort to follow God's lead, we're doing this. We're not just gonna chat and we are not gonna winge!!! We want to put the scripture in your hand, equip you hermeneutically and then let God love up on you extravagantly. These evenings are for women to walk away closer to God, clearer about His vision for them, intellectually literate and spiritually intimate, equipped for healthy relationships and fearless love.
