25.01.2022 Hi everyone In light of the recent Coronavirus outbreak COVID-19, Id like to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to keep you and our instructors healthy, and will take all preventative measures to keep the pool and surrounds germ free. Extra cleaning runs of change rooms and bench tops, and more regular checks on pool chemical balances, are being done each day. At this stage, as we are a smaller swim school, we are ok to continue as normal. I realise things are... always changing and being updated, and we will do our best to keep you up to date. I am in contact with the school office and regularly checking advice from Swim Australia. If you or your kids are feeling unwell, please let us know and keep them at home. As always, we offer make up lessons as long as you have given prior notice of absence. A quick text is all that is necessary. Of course, follow the recommendations from the relative authorities to help stop the spread of germs, and keep everyone safe. If you have any concerns, please dont hesitate to give me a call. Sue

24.01.2022 Swimming cancelled today. Friday families - unfortunately the pool heater hasnt picked the water temp up enough today to be able to hold lessons this afternoon so no swimming today. Let me know if youd like to do an extra lesson next week. Sue

23.01.2022 We may not be back at the pool until we start our new season, but were still kepping up to date on information so that we keep our swim families safe and well.

21.01.2022 Holiday Intensive Program. We have had some last minute cancelations for our morning Intensive Program this week, so if you have a Level 1 or Level 3 swimmer and would like to boost your child's ability, then let me know asap and we can get them in.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone Well our time has come. With the new restrictions due to Covid-19 announced last night, unfortunately we will have to close the gate, and leave it closed, for who knows how long. As we would normally finish up in May for winter, its not likely we would be back before then, so Im making the call now that we will finish up for the season. Hopefully things settle down, this horrible virus is gone, and we can start back up for our new season in September. ... Anna, Gabby and I, will all miss the kids and seeing them improve in the pool. Their smiling faces and never ending stories. Those days when their school recaps keep going while they still try to do rocket kicks. Talking under the water has certainly been perfected for some of them. Its going to be quite without them, and I am shattered it has to happen, but the health of our swimming families and friends is way more important at this time. I hope you all stay safe and well, and hope to see you all back in the pool for next season. Sue

16.01.2022 182 spots filled so far in our classes which start next week ( Sat classes start Oct 10th). If you havent contacted me yet about getting the kids in then send through a message and we can find the best spot for them. Confirmation emails will go out in the next couple of days. 13.01.2022 Need a challenge to get you in the pool. Why not join us for the Starlight Super Swim Challenge starting soon. Last year we had a group included and it is heaps easier doing it with others. Any ability can join and you can set your own goals. Sign up to our team - SASS Crew and have some fun along the way. We swim Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.15pm - 7.15pm. Come for the whole hour, half an hour, both nights or just one. Challenge start Jan 26th but we are back in the pool now so come and join in.

09.01.2022 Weekend project was a success. First kids get to try it out today. The "island" will make it easier for those shorter kids away from the wall and help the classes run smoother giving the chance for the kids to have extra turns.

07.01.2022 Hey everyone. Hope you are all well and going ok in this crazy time. Heres a quick video put together by some of our kids, doing a virtual relay. Not everyone has a pool, and not every video is very clear, but they have all had fun.

05.01.2022 Last week 25 kids participated in our Holiday Intensive Program. They covered all levels of Learn to Swim as well as our Squad Levels. Everyone improved so much and some are now able to move to the next level in their weekly lessons. Super proud of everything their have achieved in just 1 week.
