24.01.2022 I've had a lovely day today - the rose festival is on so my daughter and I went out for coffee this morning, had a look at the flower displays and the market and ended up having a glass of wine on the deck of the club. It really was time to stop and smell the roses!

20.01.2022 I think this is so true - it's easy to over think things, create issues that aren't there and that are even unlikely to arise and try to find answers that will cover every contingency and keep everyone happy. There are times when you have to trust in yourself and your own moral code - the strength of your convictions, your sense of what is right or wrong to guide you in the right direction to find the answers you need.

13.01.2022 Take a moment to watch. It gives such a good explanation of the ups and downs of depression and some helpful tips on dealing with it.

12.01.2022 ............. "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go" ........... It sure is and it sounds easy enough but sometimes figuring out just what you want or need to either hang on to, or let go of, can be difficult. Having the support of a counsellor who can help you figure that out can bring about the change needed to bring balance to your life.

10.01.2022 This clicked with me....I have several things at the moment that I'm hoping to achieve. The main one is the development of this counselling service - I'm passionate about being able to provide care and support for my clients and determined to do everything I can to make that happen. I have also started working out with a personal trainer (who also happens to be my daughter - very handy) and have begun horse riding lessons after not having my bum in a saddle for 20 odd years. All these things create anxiety and stress for me at times but I'm ok. I will get there. I am asking for and allowing others to help me and I'm having a go. Who knows what might happen? :)

02.01.2022 Well this is the start of a new chapter in my life. Now I've completed my study I feel confident that I have the knowledge and skills to be able to provide personal counselling services....and so....On Course Counselling has begun. :)
