01.01.2022 COVID news by Vicki Skarratt What is happening this week? The big COVID news this week surrounds gyms... From all I hear, most gyms are working super hard to keep their spaces clean and COVID- Free. However, what can’t be controlled is the risk of someone attending the gym whilst unknowingly infectious. Hygiene measures may reduce the chance of transmission within the gym, but anyone using the gym at or after the critical period will be given a Health Order from NSW Health to self-isolate for 2 weeks. If this week is anything to go by, the biggest risk appears to be in the weights areas, including free weights, squat lifts, resistance machines etc. Many hundreds of people have been ordered to isolate in most of the Sydney cases this week. If you can’t afford to be isolated for 2 weeks, can’t possibly work from home, or are working or mixing with the elderly, maybe think twice before entering a gym.

01.01.2022 Rostered day for Lachlan and Baxter!
