14.01.2022 This is for those history buffs like me out there. I've recently learnt about the "Donut Dollies". Women volunteers who made donuts and coffee for troops out of travelling trucks. Commencing in 1917 by the Red Cross, they were soon recognised as vital morale boosters during the war, even serving soldiers in the trenches. The tradition was so impactful that it would continue in WWII and the Vietnam War.... WOW! I'm so inspired by these women who dodged a few bullets and bombs too while providing this vital service!
