17.01.2022 Lived experience is central to everything we do at Suicide Prevention Australia. Meet Mark Davis, a member of our Lived Experience Panel. Mark is a former police officer who has struggled with PTSD and depression for many years. His message to everyone is: To anyone that is thinking of taking your own life, please just pause a moment. It is too big a problem to go it alone, tell someone about your problems. The help offered by others will make all the difference and open up... a new world. I've lived a long life with my conditions, I am accomplished and satisfied, and most importantly I can now accept support and love, and provide them in return.
