09.01.2022 The seeds for Sulaco Creations were planted the start of a very unexpected journey involving three elves, a dwarf and a trip to New Zealand! It was for this trip that I began my first real foray into foam, prosthetics and props, in preparation for The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, New Zealand premiere and launch party. The Dwarven costume I made was chosen by Sir Richard Taylor (Creative Director of Weta Workshop) as one of the top ten of the night, sparking my confidenc...e and inspiring me to pursue my dreams! I spent the next few years honing my skills, working on private commissions and creating art for local galleries. Im always learning new techniques and expanding my repertoire, with a focus on making lightweight and easy to wear pieces with a high standard of both quality and detail. As artist, a prop-maker, costumer and designer it is my job and joy to bring the fantastical to life. From cosplay to statement pieces, sci-fi to steampunk and history to fantasy: I work to make imagination reality and your dreams, something you can wear.
