25.01.2022 This year, we will be setting up our Summanis Pro Audio Rig at the Natural Curiosities theme camp, @ Burning Seed NSW! The theme camp will be running a fundraising event on the 17th of August at The Nest Bar in Collingwood. You’ll get a sneak peek into the theme camp vibe, whilst listening to some great local talent. 22.01.2022 Our good friends at Sangers & Bangers will be setting up a pop up sandwich shop as part of the Sydney Road Street Festival on the 1st March. Located at 53 Sydney Road. The shop itself is still being built, and when finished will be kitted out in some of our highest spec custom made speakers we’ve ever made! Until then, enjoy some culinary delights at their pop up shop, whilst enjoying some banging tunes. 19.01.2022 The Summanis Pro Audio Rig was installed and optimised at Whitehart Bar to the tune of 300 distinguished guests eager to dance the day away for the Brame & Hamo Day Party. It was over 6 weeks ago, but the memories are still strong. The atmosphere was electric and the surrounding building structures were vibrating along in the lovely green open space at Whitehart Bar. 14.01.2022 Fresh off the printer! These PETG printed speaker ports are tailor made for the Helion ultra high power pro audio speaker. A speaker port is a Helmholtz resonator, that generates sound at a tuned frequency. When designed correctly, they are used to effectively extend a speaker systems bass response. Creating deeper, lower bass frequencies. Using 3D print technology, we can customise our ports to be perfectly tuned to each speaker system. Tailored flared ends look great but also reduce port turbulence.

14.01.2022 Finding a high frequency driver that matches the performance and capabilities of the 12 woofers to be used in our new Pro Audio design was not easy. However, we are confident the following compression driver and aluminium horn will exceed all expectations! Originating from the same pedigree, this Italian made driver provides class leading efficiency (108dB sensitivity for the techs) and generous power handling. Combined with great dispersion/coverage and low frequency loading, we’re confident we have a match that will demonstrate no comprises.

12.01.2022 This time-lapse video shows the 3D printing in action. Sped up by 1,600x, each layer is precision printed at 160 microns high. Total print time: 23 hours 4 minutes.

11.01.2022 An audio crossover is the brain of a passive speaker system. Hidden away inside of our lovely cabinets, the crossover filters high and low frequencies and sends them to the respective speaker driver. It’s important to use only high quality audiophile grade components, to ensure the sound frequencies passing through are not negatively altered. The pictured crossover is from our Illuminate 2 speaker. Our new design uses a 3D printed board to ensure all components are securely attached. We think it looks neat!

11.01.2022 The perfect gift whilst you’re in self-isolation! These freshly built Illuminate 2’s are a high fidelity speaker, built to handle anything you can throw at them. Two 8 Danish woofers are matched with our radial dome tweeter to deliver a full, dynamic sound. Our large port is tuned low, allowing the system to reach frequencies down to 35Hz (@-3dB). 11.01.2022 Correct speaker positioning can vastly improve the sound quality heard from your speakers at home. Speaker stands aim to help direct the sound to where you want in the room (normally your ears), whilst reducing unwanted interactions from nearby surfaces. They also provide a degree of mechanical isolation (vibration) from the speaker.
