20.01.2022 Have you changed payment providers. One company we know changed from a big 4 bank and saved $100,000 per year in fees and exchange rates and moved settlement from 4 days to 45 minutes. https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/346185

11.01.2022 An asset class is a grouping of investments that exhibit similar characteristics and are subject to the same laws and regulations. This data is from 2014, but unlikely to be much different in 2019. Venture Outcomes are even more skewed than you think. It is not 1/3, 1/3rd, 1/3rd, but over 21,600 companies in the USA 2/3rds went bust or failed to return 1 times returns.

08.01.2022 KPMG found that Australia had an increase in venture capital (VC) funding in 2019 to US$1.145 billion, an increase from US$1.033 billion in 2018. 05.01.2022 Kate Cornick, the CEO of LaunchVic, the Victorian government’s startup program says Startup investing is really unique. 01.01.2022 Released on Wednesday by Victorian state-government funded body LaunchVic, this report showed the level of angel investment per capita in Australia was low on a global basis at $3.60, compared to $5.14 in New Zealand and $12.01 in the UK and $25.44 in the United States. Speaking to The Australian Financial Review, LaunchVic chief executive Kate Cornick said the amount of money being received per deal by startups had increased, but this was leaving a gap for younger companies needing smaller amounts of money. "The challenges associated with angel investment highlights a missing link in Australia's startup funding landscape which is inhibiting early-stage startups from scaling and realising their economic potential," she said.
