17.01.2022 Good morning I’m going into a semi-silent retreat from this evening for about 10 days. It’s semi-silent because I’ll still be coming to class and guiding yoga... and meditation, but outside of this I’ll be alone, with my yoga mat and meditation cushion, my candle and incense. This is a very important, probably the most important and transformative part of my spiritual journey and I’m grateful to have the time/space to do this yet again (and to have a partner who will cook all my meals for me during this time!). You are all very welcome just to drop-in to class during this time, no need to reserve (we can always make room for you ). Thank you all for your support and love, and hope to see some of you this week

16.01.2022 I faced my Facebook Live video fears yesterday to give this talk on truthfulness. This topic has touched (and challenged!) me deeply on many levels. Adam from Kalyan Yoga has written a little summary below if you'd like just to get the gist. I think Swami Satyananda really nails it when he said:... 'Whatever you do, be true to yourself and to the world. Hide not your thoughts. Be frank. Be sincere. Be candid. Be straightforward. Be courageous to express your views'.

13.01.2022 I’m just poking my head out of a silent retreat and preparing for a little talk I’m giving in the morning on the yogic concept of Satya (truthfulness). This is for my lovely friends at Kalyan Yoga’s OCIP series (One Consciousness, Infinite Perspectives). I’ll pull some ideas from Eastern philosophy and spirituality, but also draw on the work of American psychologist Brad Blanton and his controversial Radical Honesty movement, drawn from his training in Gestalt theory (and notions of chicken shit, bullshit and elephant shit). This is real early in Oz (5.30am here in QLD, 6.30am NSW/VIC) but the video will be available after if you’re interested .

05.01.2022 I am joining forces with the wonderful Kellie Kennett (Ishwarpreet) to offer this magical evening next weekend... Kellie is a powerful Kundalini Yoga teacher and gong musician and I am sooo looking forward to diving deep with her (and some of you!) at a secret moonlit location near Mission Beach
