24.01.2022 OK...so we're still having dramas with the phones. Got to say we're not in love with the NBN! If you've tried to call this morning and we've 'hung up' on you we are terribly sorry, it seems there was some type of conflict with the numbers at the exchange! We think that its all sorted now but just in case, here's our office mobile number...0423857438

22.01.2022 TRANSMISSION UPDATE: The Point Arkwright transmission seems to have settled down so you should now have a restored TV service. If you are still having issues please contact us on 54791999.

22.01.2022 After several attempts to solve our phone connection issues and lots of overtime, we have a temporary solution in place. We're hoping to have our service provider permanently solve the problem asap but in the meantime our phones are back up and running although they are still a little temperamental and are still dropping out now and then. We appreciate your patience with us while we get the situation resolved.

18.01.2022 Well a little bit of rain never stopped anyone At least its dry inside our NAS mobile Security Showroom...and there's food & coffee close by.

18.01.2022 and the saga of the phones continues - after what feels like months with only one line today is the day we get all our lines reconnected but not without some teething issues. If you are having trouble getting through please try again on 5443 1984 - we are doing our best with the help of our fabulous phone technician from R&O Communications. Thank you for patience and understanding.

16.01.2022 Ever wondered why you can't get a picture when you first move into a new place...

16.01.2022 At present we are having issues with the TV reception across the coast. If you are having breaking up of your pictures or your TV is saying "No or Weak Signal" we recommend you DO NOT RETUNE YOUR TV. The issue will rectify by itself. Due to the heat at this time of year there is Atmospheric interference causing most of the issues. For further information on current faults you can go to our website: https://www.sunshineantenna.com.au/transmission_issues/ We are currently monitoring the Dulong and Point Arkwright transmitters. So if you are receiving TV reception from either one of these transmitters, you can call our office on 54791999 and we can confirm if you have a different problem.

15.01.2022 We often have customers bring in their faulty remotes for repair. In many cases we find the remote is not repairable and a new remote may no longer available or are very costly to replace. One cause is that the original batteries that come with the product are very cheap type batteries which last for some time but they tend to leak and cause corrosion on the battery terminals and on the board. This is often very difficult to repair if at all. April 1 is the day designated to... change the smoke alarm batteries. Why not use this day to replace all your batteries in all your remotes. This will help to provide reliable service from all your remotes and will give you longevity of your electronic goods. Also, don't forget your remotes for your cars and garage doors as well. If the remote is a spare one in the draw and it is not being used take the batteries out. I also speak from experience as over the years I have lost some very expensive video equipment costing many hundreds of dollars due to leaky batteries. So don't take a chance, replace your batteries regular and use good quality alkaline batteries.

13.01.2022 Seeking Qualified Installers...come be part of our amazing team of Service Technicians.

13.01.2022 The Point Arkwright transmitter servicing parts of the Sunshine Coast from North of Coolum down to Maroochydore and parts of Buderim is currently experiencing signal loss. If you have lost your signal please DO NOT retune your TV - we expect reception will be restored within short order. Keep up to date on our website at: https://www.sunshineantenna.com.au/transmission_issues/

13.01.2022 Our thoughts are with the guys in the NT and far North Queensland this week. Tropical Cyclone Owen has been unrelenting and it seems it has extended its reaches to our beautiful shores today and by all accounts is only going to get worse over night. And while it's a welcome relief to our farmers who need the rain, we would urge all to take care out there and stay safe. From a Tech point of view this weather will undoubtedly cause interruptions to your TV and internet reception. Please resist the urge to re scan your TV should you loose signal, we promise that normal viewing should return with the passing of the wild weather. If your service doesn't return after the storm passes do not hesitate to give us a call on Monday and we'll be happy to help fix any issues caused by Owen

09.01.2022 Just discovered that we can share our mail house newsletter directly to Facebook...the marvels of modern technology!

05.01.2022 Well the wonders of modern technology have failed us on the very first day of our new year...for those of you having trouble getting through to our office we appologise...it seems our internet provider has let us down and we are without access to our phones or computers Our tech guys have been trying to do work arounds however have been unsuccessful in getting the internet service connected back to our fancy new voip phones Please be patient with us while we get our system back up and running. If you've left us a message we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding

05.01.2022 Good news for those of us who lost reception due to the Peregian & Point Arkwright Transmitter issues of the past few days. It seems that the Transmitters are now back on line. We have had several reports from affected customers that their reception has been restored, however we have yet to receive confirmation from WIN Televistion (who manage the transmitters) that the issue has been totally sorted... If you were one of the unlucky ones who lost reception you should now have... your service back. If you retuned your TV while the service was out, rescanning now should return your channels. Some may need to manually tune in the channels - if this is you, our website has full instructions on how to go about this - find out more here: https://www.sunshineantenna.com.au/what-can-cause-pictures/ If you are still having reception issues please do let our office know on 54791999. See more

03.01.2022 If you are currently experiencing loss of TV signal you may be receiving your service from the Point Arkwright Transmitter or Peregian Transmitter, both of which are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are unsure of the repair time for this issue, but we have been advised that you may be without service for a little while. We will let you know when the service is back up and running. In the meantime we highly recommend you DO NOT rescan as this will wipe out all your preset channels. When the transmission is repaired your service will automatically restore as long as a rescan is not carried out. Keep up to date with current transmission issues on our website at https://www.sunshineantenna.com.au/transmission_issues/

01.01.2022 Well the end of the week is here again and it seems we may have smoothed out most of the bugs affecting our phones (fingers crossed) We are back up and running on our business line of 54791999 with a rolling number to a second line - yaye!. Mobile is still working and there have been no hang ups on customers today Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

01.01.2022 UPDATE: Transmitter is now back up and running. Merry Christmas one and all Transmissions from the Point Arkwright Transmitter have been experiencing drop out on all channels since Wednesday afternoon 23rd Dec. Should you be experiencing "no signal" on your TV, we suggest you DO NOT RETUNE YOUR TV - Your reception will be restored when the problem is resolved at the Transmitter site. If you have tried to retune your TV we suggest you reset your tuning by following the manual tuning instructions on our page https://www.sunshineantenna.com.au/what-can-cause.../ When the reception is restored your TV channels will come back on line. We are all hoping that the transmitter is back on line in time for our Christmas viewing :)
