One for over the shoulder and the other for across the body. 19.01.2022 This coloured leather in the The Strong Raw Leather Tote is just so unique and different. When you scrunch the leather and on it corners it creates a deep purple tone coming through the dark brown. The underside of the leather is the same rich tone in suede. 06.01.2022 I’m a bit excited to share with you my new vegan friendly bag and clutch. - I’ve been researching the best textural non-leather product for a long time now and.... - Finally the amazing Cork Fabric is the one that I can ad to my range of leather goodies to accomodate for my customers vegan friends and family who still would like a Sunshine Barossa piece for themselves without using any form of plastic products that won’t break down in our environment.... - I have collaborated with an amazing local crafter Janet from @forgetitnotdesigns. And these are the 2 incredible designs. - For many people when you hear the word ‘cork, you may think of popping a lovely bottle of bubbly ( which I did) or a pin up board. Many of you have not heard of cork fabric and are usually quite inquisitive to touch it. - Nicknamed as Nature’s Leather due to the fact that it looks and performs similar to leather but, it is made from a renewable source. Hence why my love for it has formed. - Interesting facts- The best thing about Cork Fabric is that the tree is not harmed or damaged during the harvesting process. Each tree has a rotation cycle of 9 years, this allows for the bark of the Cork Oak to regenerate ready for the next harvest. The construction of Cork fabric is a story of patience, skill and precision. Thin sheets are carefully placed by hand onto a backing fabric like organising the blocks in a patchwork quilt.For a smoother texture some of the sheets are hand sanded, then a protective finish is applied to give a high-quality gorgeous product. - Because of the long process of how it is made the cost is very high so making these vegan friendly products will not be cheaper than my leather ones. Sooo what I’m wanting to find out from you all is this something I should follow and continue in my range?
