We are ...now in a situation where we are rescheduling games and will only schedule games that are required in order to identify a winner in each division. 24.01.2022 SUNSHINE COAST MAGIC WOMEN'S BASEBALL GBL TEAM Week 6 - We travelled down to Narangba to play Tuesday night and a great game was had by all and we were able to bring home a win. This Saturday we play Padres White at home at Mudjimba Northshore Multi Sports complex. Warm Up from 2.30pm and game starts at 3.30pm following on from the North Shore Champions Plate game. We have 2 home games to go before the finals so show your support for our talented Women baseballers and come on down

So this is your last chance this season to come on down to the Northshore Multisport Complex, Mudjimba to show your support to the Sunshine Coast only Women's GBL team battle it out against Padres Grey Women's GBL team. 22.01.2022 SUNSHINE COAST MAGIC WOMEN'S GBL TEAM Week 8: Our final game was played yesterday on the diamond this season at Mudjimba. Now it is finals time. Great game by the whole team. This was a great warmup for the first final next week as we travel down the highway to Brisbane. Let's hope we can keep it going for the 2 weeks of finals. Lots of fun was had on the diamond yesterday, even some dance moves.(where was the video camera?)... We then head straight into the Baseball Queensland Women's and Youth Women's State Titles where we have 3 teams entered. The Ladies and the Girls are training down the house.

14.01.2022 QWC Competiton Update. Sun 12:30pm Hi all, with the time constraints at play and the weather situation, no further play will be possible today. Unfortunately ...this makes the Div 1 tournament an abandoned Tournament as one team in the competition will not record a game played due to the weather. The Div 2 Tournament has two games remaining to be played: Bris West @ Gold Coast S.Stars @ Sun Coast These D2 games will be rescheduled to later in the week as they can be played locally by teams and are required to reach an outcome for the tournament. Negotiations continue between these teams on rescheduling these two D2 games and announcements will be made once details are confirmed. Thank you to All Stars Baseball Club, the teams and officials for giving it their best shot to get games played.

Our first meeting will be this Thursday the 6th August from 7:30pm - 8:30pm via Google Meet. No marketing experience required, just a genuine passion to help get the word out to the greater Sunshine Coast community and grow participation in the sport.... We were led by Lauren and Awhina showing improvement every week. Keep it up Girls as State Titles is just around the corner. Big shout out to Erin's debut as catcher-great job.... 11.01.2022 COMPETITIVE BASEBALL ON THE SUNSHINE COAST. Week 5 saw the Sunshine Coast Magic Women's Baseball team travel back down the highway for a game against Pine Hills Lightning in Brisbane. The Girls had fun again especially when batting keeping their eye on the ball. Great pitching Bree and Harmony while Karen caught well. We left Pine Hills with a win and will head back down the highway on Tuesday evening to take on the Girl's at Narangba.

10.01.2022 WHAT DO UMPIRE SHIRT COLOURS MEAN? There's seemingly a rainbow of umpire shirt colours in Australia and we want to help you understand what they mean. GREEN SHI...RT This is the shirt that was provided prior to 2019 to all new Community Umpires when they were permitted to umpire senior baseball. This has been replaced by the light blue shirt and although may to continue wear it, they are accredited for junior, masters and women's baseball. LIGHT BLUE This is the shirt for all Community Accredited (previously Level O) umpires. These umpires are accredited to umpire Little League, junior, masters and womens baseball. There is a ZERO tolerance to arguing judgement calls with these umpires. YELLOW SHIRT This is provided to newer and lesser experienced umpires who have completed the Association Accreditation and are permitted to umpire all levels of baseball in Queensland. As these umpires are either volunteers or new, there is a ZERO tolerance to arguing judgement calls. CLUB BLUE/DARK BLUE/BLACK These umpires are assigned by QBUA, the local umpire association or are an experienced club Association, State or Nationally Accredited umpire.
