13.01.2022 We're Back! Where We Have Been & What's Happening Now? Wow, that's a lot to start with! Although it has been a while. I would like to begin by thanking our followers who have been around with us for some time over the years, along with others who sent messages to wonder how we were going and ask if or when we were coming back. THANK YOU for your ongoing support.... For those new who are new (or perhaps some others like me, with fading memories )...my name is Brad and I'll be your tour guide Back in 2013 when the idea for Sunshine Coast Connections came to mind, the concept of a local business and tourism guide wasn't revolutionary, yet has been comprehensively engulfed by Google, Facebook and many others today. In 2015, when we launched on Insta, we found an opportunity to discover and support more of the creative side of town through photography and arts. Then in 2017, after 11+ years working mostly in digital marketing & technology, with a young son getting closer to starting school, I decided to take a short break from work. As that short break grew longer and more enjoyable....eventually two more years had passed....and here we are! With time, however, often comes a different perspective...and a refined vision to use our platform to give back to the community by supporting our growing home to creators, entrepreneurs & innovators who often struggle to be seen or heard in a noisy and crowded online world. As a collaboration between family and some good friends, we'll aim to highlight the amazing people & families striving to making a real difference locally or further abroad while respecting and appreciating the rich history of the Coast. Soon, the Sunshine Coast will be connected like never before... The #NextGenSunshineCoast is already evolving before our eyes. So we hope you'll join us on this journey to get to know you better and to help us along as we continue to highlight our Amazing Sunshine Coast and the people who make it the special and unique place we call home ~ Brad
