19.01.2022 We have been super busy between work and getting the light show ready! Today we started to assemble one of the two Mega Trees being used in the SunSmart Light Show! Its fair to say Im happy about it This is just the beginning though, with over 13,000 lights to be clipped into place and over 1000 solder joints to be done, as well as installing and building all the frames and computer controllers to run the show. Its approximately 160 hours of work for the build stage...! 200 hours have already been put into the design stage and programming! We are definitely taking on any helpers if youd like to be involved See more
19.01.2022 What an event! A huge thank you goes out to the thousands of people from around the state who attended the SunSmart LightShow. A special thank you to those who made a donation. We were able to raise $500 for the Examiners Empty Stocking Appeal, an outstanding effort for a Christmas lights display fund raiser.... Of course we will be back again bigger and better, in fact the new build has already started! Let us know if there is any changes youd like to see or maybe even some other special occasions added to our lights display we have some ideas but we would love to hear yours.

17.01.2022 What a turn out! I think Spooktacular Lights was a success! All the long days and nights, trial and error, stress blood and tears over the past months finally paid off!... I’d like to say a massive thank you to the following people for helping make this event possible! If it wasn’t for the support and help of these people I would never be able to pull of such an event! Firstly I’d like to say a massive thank you to Mark, Ian, Jade, Jie, Melissa, Raz and Sam from the Rocherlea volunteer fire brigade! if it wasn’t for these guys and girl I definitely wouldn’t have been confident in strapping a flame thrower to the roof I literally finished making the day before! Especially after 6 failed attempts and setting the roof on fire the weekend prior! A massive shout out to the following mates who helped lift heavy props for the display, worked on the night refilling the flame machines and monitoring my roof! Man it must have been HOT up there boys! Kym, Jacob, Fletcher, Anthony, Michelle you guys rock! thank you so much for the help ensuring the night ran smoothly! Ned for the professional voice overs absolute legend doing these for me at the last minute! A massive shout out also goes to Joyce and Jack from Linsn Led for helping get the new screens working seamlessly! You guys rock!
