15.01.2022 "Doctors insisted all procedures have legitimate medical justifications, while Mr Merhebe... rejected any suggestion of super being used for trivial reasons. For some women, they say, You know what? Theres no point having superannuation if I cant leave it to somebody, I want to have a child... Thats a medical condition, they dont choose to be infertile.

14.01.2022 Lucinda and Nick's Journey of Hope.. What a journey my husband and I have been on to meet our precious son Arther. After falling in love and marrying later in life, we started trying for a family. After a year, we still hadn't conceived. We had some fertility tests which revealed that we both had some issues that would make conception difficult and that we should try IVF, especially given our age. Given our location in remote Australia, we had to travel interstate for fertil...ity treatment which added to the already high cost of IVF. Our first attempt resulted in the conception of twins. We were ecstatic. Sadly, at 21 weeks, Lily and Charlie were born prematurely and did not survive. We were devastated and disillusioned with the process of IVF and parenthood. And so began a journey of another 6 cycles to achieve a pregnancy. These cycles were done over a 2 year period due to our age and desperation to have a rainbow baby. We worked two jobs each and all of our money went into IVF until we simply had no available funds remaining. That is when we turned to SuperCare. We got in touch with an amazing IVF consultant named Lisa Brown and she assisted us every step of the way to access our superannuation to use for our last two attempts at IVF. Lisa did everything for us, arranged quotes and liaised with the IVF clinic, arranged appointments and forms for us and the process was really very easy. Not only did Lisa from SuperCare assist us with the application process, she followed our journey and cared to know how our pregnancy with Arther was progressing. In the end, we felt like Lisa was a friend and was so excited to inform her that Arther had arrived. So for anyone out there that has lost hope about being parents due to financial implications, I can recommend SuperCare in the highest possible terms. Without their support, we would not have been able to save enough money in time, before our biological clocks ran out! We thank SuperCare, and especially Lisa, from the bottom of our hearts. Our lives are complete. Lucinda and Nick
