25.01.2022 Who saw #TheBlockNZ tonight?! Anyone know who is doing all the scaffolding for the site? #WeAre https://www.threenow.co.nz//first-look-at-the-block-nz-201

24.01.2022 Did you see Grand Designs NZ last night on TV3? We provided the scaffold for The Music Box house! http://www.threenow.co.nz//season-3/Houses/music-box---gal

23.01.2022 Heres a little (its not little) something that kept us all busy in the run up to Christmas!

22.01.2022 Its happening! The racks are built and are beginning to be filled, the Ringlock has been sorted and re-stacked. Weve begun to slowly move into our new yard in Albany!

20.01.2022 Were on the final push at this large job in Newmarket with just Purlins and Roof Edge Protection to go before this job is ready for shrink wrapping. Almost seems a shame to cover such a work of art in plastic! Well done to Royce, Dave, Tom and all of their team members!

20.01.2022 How many coffees in the morning is too many coffees Hohepa and Johnny?! #SmileForTheCamera #CanWeHaveYourAutograph

20.01.2022 Impromptu team meeting held today where it was unanimously agreed that the boys are pleased to see the sunshine and are excited that summer is on the way! #yesheisclippedin #nofallingallowed

19.01.2022 Well done to the teams who worked tirelessly on this huge waterfront property over the last week or so. The house is all ready for Shrink Wrapping tomorrow. Weve got some fantastic time lapse footage of the scaffold being erected which were hoping to post in the coming week so keep a look out for that. Were also hoping to get some aerial shots from a drone!

19.01.2022 Not only have we been busy building scaffolds around Auckland, weve also been busily sourcing everything we need for our new crane truck! We dont need the current truck body but maybe you know someone who could use a curtain sider with refrigeration unit and/or a Palfinger tail lift? If you do, get them to contact Paul for more details at [email protected]

17.01.2022 Were really proud to announce that last week we were granted full membership to SARNZ. All of us have been working really hard to make that happen - from continuing to build fantastic, safe and compliant scaffolds to ensuring our policies and procedures are always up to date and relevant. Were 100% committed to doing great work and building a great reputation that is all about safety, reliability and innovation. Having SARNZ grant us membership is a very important step for us in continuing to build that reputation.

17.01.2022 Weve already shown you some photos of our work on this particular job. Heres a time lapse video of the work being carried out. Special thanks to all our teams who were involved as well as Shrink-it for the brilliant work they also did

17.01.2022 Weve revamped our website! Go and take a look https://supercityscaffolding.co.nz/

17.01.2022 Were very proud and pleased to be able to provide at no cost to the Devonport RSA, this small stage from which all speakers can address the crowd and be clearly seen for tomorrows Anzac Day services. Special thanks to the lads who got this up during the evening after theyd completed their other jobs for the day. Lest we forget.

16.01.2022 So this article in the NZ Herald today is awesome for two reasons: 1. We like building booms 2. Thats our scaffold in the articles photo!... Thanks for the free advertising and making our awesome scaffold one of your stock photos NZ Herald! https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm

15.01.2022 A really happy customer shared some drone footage of his new house build with us. So we turned it into a short video! He also emailed the boss with some great feedback :) "What an amazing company to deal with. The scaffolding on our large house build was brilliant, the team who installed it clearly had a passion for doing a great job. Everything was clean, and tidy and it made the whole building process so much easier. The quality of the scaffolding made it very accessible ...and easy to work from with their large wide planks and platforms and multiple access points. The scaffolding was regularly checked by there lovely team members and communications were a breeze with the office staff. We looked at multiple scaffolding companies before we started our build and have been absolutely wrapped that we chose Super city as our supplier! Thanks again team! Was sad to see it go." See more

14.01.2022 Its amazing what the boss finds when hes going through time lapse video footage of some of our work. Thanks for the laugh Haks!

13.01.2022 Were so excited to announce that well be scaffolding & shrink wrapping the Daring. The Daring is a 17m Schooner that was wrecked on Muriwai Beach in 1865 & only recently uncovered when very high tides moved a sand bar to expose her. In scaffolding terms, this isnt large or even challenging. What it is though, is an absolutely enormous privilege. To be part of such a truly wonderful piece of NZ history is incredibly special & a once in a lifetime opportunity. Were ex...cited to be able to get up close to this wonderful vessel at the very beginning of its restoration journey. We are lucky enough to be blessed with incredibly talented staff and wonderful resources. They will all be thrown at this job because as proud NZers we want to do everything we can to help save our history. A little about the Daring: Built in 1863 (6 years before the Cutty Sark on display in London) in Mangawhai, the Daring traded along the North Islands west coast. It was purposely run aground during a severe storm off Muriwai Beach. She was carrying bales of grass seed at the time & no loss of life occurred during the beaching. Several unsuccessful attempts to refloat her were made until she was finally left to literally be buried by the sands of time. The kicker to the story though? Neither the vessel nor her cargo were insured ... oops! #Daring #Shipwreck Daring Rescue

11.01.2022 Last week we completed the wrap of a moss covered asbestos roof with a 60 degree pitch. To make it just that little bit more fun, it was surrounded by large mature trees and had a creek running through the back of the property! Well done lads, another wonderful job!

11.01.2022 Introducing the newest members to the Supercity Scaffolding family. Give us a wave if you see us on the road. Were a friendly bunch so well wave back! #beepbeep

10.01.2022 Its taken a long time but its finally on the road. Meet our new truck and Hiab!

10.01.2022 Heres something a little different that we thought wed share. An amazing video of British Scaffolders in the 50s and 60s. Not a hi-vis in sight let alone steel caps, helmet or more importantly ... a harness! Thank goodness for the improvements in todays Health & Safety standards. Nothing is more important than ensuring everyone goes home safely after a long day on the tools.

10.01.2022 Since we took all the fish out of the sea last year we took on a new challenge for 2018. We went bush on quad bikes and protected Auckland from invasion by Clay Pigeons! Turns out were all really good target shooters ... well most of us anyway. Brett summed it up best with the quote of the day: "Erwin when we go to war, you stay home"

07.01.2022 Someone said to us "there is plenty of fish in the sea" Our response? "Well fix that"

06.01.2022 Have you seen the construction site along Ti Rakau Drive? Thats the new Pakuranga Medical Centre being built and were delighted to be involved providing propping, exterior working platforms, a catch fan, block wall scaffolds and roof edge protection. Were still building and have a while to go but things are looking fantastic so far.

06.01.2022 We dont like to brag buuuut ...

05.01.2022 Were looking for qualified scaffolders, spanner hands and labourers to join our busy team! 04.01.2022 Were loving the great weather at the moment in the lead up to Christmas. Its really helping us nail some great jobs with the Pakuranga Medical Centre build nearing completion and a large industrial factory in Wiri that is going to be shrink wrapped well underway at the moment. All our teams are doing a sensational job and were very proud of them

04.01.2022 Safety always comes first with us. Yours and ours. Nothing else is a higher priority. Thats why knowing this is important for those already in the scaffolding industry as well as those who aspire to be in the industry. http://sarnz.org.nz/practice/

02.01.2022 Wed like to wish all our staff, customers, suppliers, friends and followers a very happy Easter. Stay safe on those busy roads over the weekend. We look forward to seeing and working with you all after the break.
