14.01.2022 Blocked radiators are common !!! Most radiators will provide a long service life if the cooling system is maintained. It is important to drain and flush the system and replace the coolant at the specific intervals. Contact us if you need any advice, we are happy to help.

14.01.2022 C ON G R A T U L A T I O N S Mark OSullivan founder of Superior Radiator Service back in 1982 is celebrating 45 years in the radiator industry !! Mark finished school 15th November 1973, he started at ABC Radiators, Canterbury Rd Bankstown on 17th November 1973.... Originally this was intended to be a job for 6 weeks until he started an apprenticeship as an electrician at the end of January 1974. The week before he was due to start the electrical company rang to inform him that the contract they were hoping to get didnt eventuate so therefore they couldnt employ him. Mark applied for several other apprenticeships but all positions had been filled so he decided to stay in the radiator industry until he could apply for other apprenticeships the following year. This didnt eventuate because he was a year older and most companies shyed away from him, he believes this is because they wanted to pay less wages. Mark was enjoying the work and learning about radiator repairing so he decided to forge a career in this field. Later in 1974 another company approached Mark to go and work for them also in Bankstown so he made the move. He worked there for 12 months and again saw an opportunity to better himself with a change of companies. It was at this company he was taught some skills that became invaluable in years ahead. Mark was lured back to the second company he worked for some 3 years later, several years later they expanded the business and opened up a new workshop in Moorebank to specialise in truck and industrial radiators. Eventually Mark moved to Moorebank to manage the workshop and on the 1st April 1982 he purchased the business and the rest is history !!!

12.01.2022 K U B O T A This radiator is a unit that we fabricated for a Kubota Excavator, the customer sent us a sample and we made a heavy-duty replacement unit as the original unit was being sand blasted from the environment it was operating in. The replacement core manufactured by Adrad was a purpose-built unit with brass fin with steel faces added for strength.

The Mini Trek commenced Friday 23rd March-Sunday 25th March, it began at Braidwood, Cooma, Nimmitabel, Dalgety, Jindabyne to Khancoban via the Alpine Way, Jingellic, Woomargama, Rosewood, Tumut and finished at Jugiong. 03.01.2022 #superiorradiators recently fabricated a water tank for a customer. The existing tank was made out of light gauge material and didnt have any internal baffles. Capacity of the tank was just over 500 litres, when full there is 500kg of water sloshing around as the truck drove around corners, up and down hills etc. We fabricated a tank out of 5mm thick aluminium and welded in 2 internal baffles to rectify the problem !! Very happy customer #tanks #fueltanks #radiators
