09.01.2022 I like big lashes but my lash tech wants to cry This is not a drill, as lash technicians it really hard for us to educate clients on safe lash lengths. Mostly this is because every individual is different and ofcourse because not all lashes being done are being done safely Here is the reality of designing a set of lashes. Some lash lines are full, some sparse, some short and some long. No lash line is made the same. This means your set might not be as long or full as your... friends. As your chosen technician it is our duty of care to PROTECT YOUR LASHES, first an foremost. In fact your lash line tells us what we can do safely. As a rule if you are apart of the vast population of 7mm to 9mm lashes, you will get a stunning but shorter set of lashes. That mean they will be either not extended or only extended 1 to 2 sizes (1mm to 2mm) depending on the strength of your lashes. This is done with love friends! As we know now over extension WILL thin the lashes and possibly cause long term damage. So next time your lash technician politely says 'I'm sorry going longer will damage your lashes' know they are doing you a soild and preventing damaged lashes. Let them do their thing as this is their expertise! See more
