25.01.2022 Hi Folks, It is indeed a sad day to inform you all that due to the current crisis we have had to close the gym down as from 12 noon March 23/2020. We are eagerly waiting for the Government to allow us to reopen but in the meantime we want you all to be strict on your diet and do daily exercise that will make you huff, puff and sweat so you don`t lose too much condition. Please note that all memberships and payments have been put on hold until that magic day we can reopen. 23.01.2022 26 Entries all locked in for a great day of lifting at Supershape gym. The girls are back with 10 entries --.5 novices and also some very experienced lifters an...d expecting some magnificent efforts with Taylor Young trying to better all the world records out of all the powerlifting associations in the world in her age and weight class. Also 5 novice men lifters plus looking forward to Matt Middleton attempting to better all the open men 90 kg division national records. The lifters will all lift better if we get an enthusiastic audience so please come and show your support for people of all ages and genders who are not afraid to get on stage and give there all. 22.01.2022 UPDATE on SCHEDULED POWERLIFTING COMP So far have 11 ladies and one bloke interested in the WRPF comp scheduled for DEC 15. 15.01.2022 BACK OPEN FOR BUSINESS Please note that there are some minor changes around the gym, specifically there is now a sign in book on the reception desk, only details required are name, phone number, date and time you enter also please use the hand sanitiser as you enter. Around the gym are bottles of SANI HANDS (hand sanitiser) please use whilst training, also supplied is ADSAN this is a spray disinfectant/germocide please use this with the paper towel supplied to wipe down any s...urface you touch including machines. Please ensure you bring along your own towel for personal use. If you have any symptoms of fever dry cough tiredness aches & pains sore throat or any cold/flu symptoms we ask that you DO NOT ENTER this will help us to keep everyone safe It is imperative that we all adhere to the social distancing rules and maintain a 1.5 metre distance from each other. 13.01.2022 In my career I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from 2 amazing men, my unbelievably knowledgable husband Laurie butler, and the man who helped me me achieve my dream in winning the Miss Universe title Terry Martinez. In my training career I have been ranked as the best female power lifter over a 25 year period. I won the NABBA Miss Universe Title in the UK and gained many Australian and world records over that time. The knowledge obtained from my teachers and the experie...nce gained from nearly 30 years training and competition experience, has given me a wealth of information to draw from when coaching others. 09.01.2022 It`s POWERLIFTING TIME Back on the Border scheduled for DEC 15th 2019 The contest is sanctioned through the World Raw Powerlifting Federation so national records can be set or broken.
