24.01.2022 Now in residence ...
23.01.2022 Oh yes!! The weather has been perfect for paddling lately. It’s been so nice to explore the our creeks and rivers again after about of rain too.
23.01.2022 Windy days are great for a downwind adventure. Try our self-guided Snowy downwind trip or if you have don’t have much experience paddle boarding, then try our guided Snowy Backwater adventure.
23.01.2022 The winds look perfect for the long weekend to have an explore of the lower Snowy estuary. Perfect for beginners!
22.01.2022 We’ve got your kids covered. From 5 to 40kg and up, we have what you need to keep them safe and having fun on the water. Paddle boards and our double kayak are the perfect kids adventure boats!
22.01.2022 Just doing our summer risk assessment. .... the mouth of the Snowy is definitely closed. Tidal influence and currents will be negligible, a decrease in our hazard rating. You've got to look at the positive side of things.
22.01.2022 They opened the mouth of the Snowy last week. This means the bushfire affected water can escape and we have a beach to walk along again in Marlo. This is great especially since we can't get to the other parts of our beautiful backyard now that Cape Conran and so many other places have been burnt.
21.01.2022 Our mates from Venture Out had a bit of white water SUP action recently on the Mitchell River. I am more than a bit envious!
21.01.2022 Some wonderful photos of paddle boarding in our backyard from the one and only, Barnsey!
21.01.2022 Look what Santa brought us for Christmas!!!! How exciting! 2 x 10’6 inflatables from Red Paddle Co We better go and water test them
21.01.2022 Sorry we have been a bit quiet, we have been taking a bit of family time. Cousins hanging out in the sun! Gotta love it!
21.01.2022 Great photo Tarni!! Was a lovely paddle.
21.01.2022 Great video from Marlo Drone and Video highlighting the beauty of our backyard
21.01.2022 We hope everyone has a great Christmas. We will be back open for business on the 27th. Enjoy being with your family and friends!
20.01.2022 Great to finally get a day on the water with the family!
20.01.2022 I can't believe we have had a fortnight of no wind and glassy conditions!! It has been perfect paddling conditions! #loveeastgippsland #standuppaddleboarding #marlovictoria #visitvictoria

19.01.2022 The Yeerung River - grab an inflatable Paddleboard, pump it up and explore this incredible little river system. For such a small river, it has so much diversity to offer to your next paddling adventure! #loveeastgippsland #visitgippsland #capeconrancoastalpark #standuppaddle
17.01.2022 Sorry we can't be SUPing this weekend but we are working on a little addition to the SUP Marlo family.
17.01.2022 This summer we have added kayaks to our fleet. So if you just want to sit back and relax while you go exploring on the water, then get in touch ...
17.01.2022 Lovely morning on the water #suplife #marlovictoria #loveeastgippsland #paddlepower
17.01.2022 Ooooh! A SUP followed by a massage, now that sounds like a great end to a Spring day!!
17.01.2022 Great to get out for a paddle on the Ovens River at Bundalong. Taking advantage of the glassy waters before all the ski boats did. We loved paddling around the backwaters following the honking swans, listening to whistling kites and admiring spoonbills.
16.01.2022 Woohoo! Tomorrow, more paddling weather!
16.01.2022 We've got just a few 2019 Red Paddle Co Ride & Sport SUPs left in-store, and we need space for our 2020 boards - so until Jan 15, 2020 - we're taking 10% off th...e 2019 board packages! (or until stocks last). If you've been thinking about investing in a Red Paddle Co SUP (because they're awesome!), now is great time to do so... See more
16.01.2022 Who would believe it was raining this morning? What a lovely afternoon
16.01.2022 Do we really need all the top quality gear?
15.01.2022 Great little adventure on the water today. The boys did well in the strong winds toget back to the other side
14.01.2022 ‘Twas the night before Christmas When all through the house Not a creature was stirring Not even a mouse... The stockings were hung By the chimney with care In the hopes that St Nicholas Would soon be there The children were nestled All snug in their beds While visions of sugar-plums Danced in their head And mamma in her ‘kerchief, And I in my cap, Had just settled down For a long winters nap When out of my bed I jumped with a clatter & mamma sprang from her bed To see what was the matter Presents!!! I forgot about Tommy And Jilly and Frannie and Joe Oh what should I get them Oh who best to know?! SUP Marlo! Get your last minute gift vouchers now!
14.01.2022 January the 26th and we had our first two SUP rentals of the year! Yay! We even got out for a SUP ourselves at East Cape Conran too. The month from Boxing Day until the 26th of Jan is the busiest time of year for our town and for a lot of the communities across East Gippsland. Most of those small businesses have lost a huge percentage of their annual income. This is not a big thing for us, as SUP Marlo just provides us with a bit of extra pocket money and an excuse to do m...ore paddling, but for other businesses it is their livelihood. These people are hurting now. In East Gippsland we have all been affected deeply by the events this summer and only just now am I feeling maybe it’s starting to get normal, and we didn’t really lose anything. I hear my feelings echoed in every conversation I have. Then there are those who were cut off for weeks and unable to continue with life as normal, uncertain of what would happen next and if they were going to be threatened again. It is such a small community out here that we all know multiple people who have lost their homes and property. Then there is the natural environment; the rugged, wild beauty of this area of the world is what sustains a lot of us and is what drew the rest of us here in the first place. I moved out here because I looked at the map of Victoria and there was so much green in the east, that I wanted to head out and explore it. This summer I looked at the Vic Emergency map a lot and the majority of that green was now black. This landscape has been altered on such a broad scale that we are shocked by what we see. We are only recently able to return to some of those beautiful places where we have found escape and other areas we still can’t access and won’t be able to for a long time to come. There has been so much good will extended to all the fire affected communities in Australia that it is so overwhelming. There is support everywhere you look in many different shapes and forms. It truly is incredible. Thank you all for your support. Please don’t forget us when things settle. Come out and visit us. If you haven’t been out here before, definitely add it to the top if your list but realise that at this point in time you will only get a glimpse of what we have to offer. It and we are all a bit shattered. You will also need to return when things have recovered a bit and you can access all that East Gippsland has to offer. Please come out here and spend some dollars, not with SUP Marlo, but with all the other businesses; the cafes, campgrounds, pubs, supermarkets, bakeries, petrol stations, accomodation places, gift stores, everything really. If you haven’t heard of the ‘itsmyshout’ and ‘bring an empty esky’ campaigns , check it out, it can be a way of helping out now. See more
14.01.2022 The next week is the perfect paddling forecast!
14.01.2022 This is my favorite feature of our double kayak. I call it the little adventurers seat. Perfect for taking your little one with you... or dog, or in my case, me. I got kicked out of my seat by our youngest and it became my seat.
14.01.2022 It’s perfect weather for paddling for the next few days, particularly in the mornings. We have had kayaks and SUPs rushing out the door today. Make sure you book soon if you are keen in the next few days or you might miss out!
14.01.2022 We apologise for being ‘off air’ for a few weeks. We are settling in to the new family life with a little goddess of light added to gang and everything else hasn’t seemed that important. In time we will share our adventures with the littlest SUP princess. Happy days!
14.01.2022 'I can't be bothered waiting for mum and dad any longer, I'm going paddling'
13.01.2022 Always take your weather forecast with a grain of salt! It was lovely in the water today.
12.01.2022 Ruby gathered all her fluffy friends on this life jacket and said 'We're going SUPping Mummy!' The things kids do on a wintry weather day
12.01.2022 Welcome summer!! 'Tis the family festive season and the weather is perfect for a bit of fun! Happy adventuring this summer everyone!
11.01.2022 It's glassy Mum, Jazzy and I are going SUPing ...
11.01.2022 Hi everybody! What awesome Spring weather we have been having! I hope you have been able to take advantage of the precious moments you have had to enjoy it. We are just loving it! It has brought with it such a bounty of positive energy and inspiration. ... We apologise if anyone is out here in Marlo and keen to rent paddleboards these holidays, but we will be trying to have our own little holiday (which we have been waiting for since before the fires!) However, we may be about so drop us a line, but if you don’t hear from us, you know where we are.... in the wilderness somewhere!
10.01.2022 Downward dog! Perfect weather for a bit of SUP fun, more off than on board! #suplife #supyoga #marlovictoria #loveeastgippsland #standuppaddleboard
10.01.2022 Got a short paddle in with the family at Conran in between fires. It was such a lovely day and so nice to be on the water. We haven’t been able to access our beach for most of the summer and we had this brief window. Then there was the fire that burnt through our beach; now we are not sure when will be able to get there again. When we do, it will look quite different. @ East Cape Beach
10.01.2022 I had a dream I was out SUPing last night .... It looked something like this. #supadventure #supdog #marlovictoria #loveeastgippsland #suplife
09.01.2022 Thanks so much for memories Barnsey. You capture life so well in photos.
09.01.2022 Testing out some of our new equipment today. Santa brought SUP Marlo some new toys for Christmas! We are happy to add another 3 piece split paddle to our kit for those walk in adventures and a double SUP trolley for facilitating some family fun on the Snowy estuary. Yay! Bring on some water fun this summer!
09.01.2022 Windy Days! No problem on a sup, just paddle one way on a downwind trip! They can be very exciting!
08.01.2022 RECLAIM THE SNOWY! Welcome February! The month when you start to see familiar faces around town, the weather is summery and the waterways are quiet again. January brings the vibrance of tourists to our area and a festive atmosphere which makes you feel on holidays even when you’re not. However, February is the locals summer when the mood changes to a more familiar serenity on the water. So we have decided to celebrate this time by offering $5 off all SUP Rentals for the whole month of February. So... Come down to Marlo, grab a paddleboard and get out on the water this February! Advance bookings are recommended to ensure you can book a time that suits you.
08.01.2022 Was great to have a crew out SUPing at Conran for a bit of 'better late than never' summer beach action. Sooooo good to catch up with friends and have a bit of fun! Those times have been rare this summer and they are so important.
07.01.2022 The perfect morning out on the Snowy Backwater. The calm before the storm... #loveeastgippsland #marlovictoria #standuppaddleboarding #visitgippsland
07.01.2022 Great to see some familiar faces on the water again after it being so quiet in 2020
07.01.2022 I went for a SUP with Ruby on the Murray and we were playing one of her favourite games, 'What does that say?' Ruby: what does the river say? Me: I don't know, what does the river say? Ruby: SUPing :) #standuppaddling #lovelife #livelife #sup #suplife
06.01.2022 Had an awesome downwind paddle tour from Marlo to Frenches Narrows today. We were flying along at times with the wind on our backs. Quite challenging for a first time SUPer but no one got wet! Great to get out!
06.01.2022 Last chance for a paddle this year...
05.01.2022 Here’s a throwback to an adventure last Spring! A great arvo on the Snowy, riding rapids on kayaks and Red Paddle Co SUPs with our friends at SUP Marlo - can’t wait for more white water fun!
